Roopa, The way this industry works is that you dont wanna miss on any opportunity to network, whether is a minute interaction onscreen or a offscreen party. I know this bcoz my friend's father is a famous director in Bollywood...but anyways, The 10min screen space also is part of the networking agenda,1. u get to interact with salman offscreen while shooting and build a rapport...Its not necessary tht u can catch him offscreen somewhere....this interaction culd be used by Mishal to meet salman next time or take up an appointment....2. those 10mins will be talked about by various Industry ppl....salman defn got those 10mins in the spotlight!...tht makes them give a handful of eye to Mishal and Mahi too....added bonus...his name would get registered by ome bollywood veterans who might not even know LTL (except that Paresh Rawal has a prod house to direct serials)!3. u never know when opportunity clicks...half the time, actors/producers like salman pick an actor for their production by seeing their 10 mins work....so, yes, a minute or 10.....everything counts in this industry....I dnt know what CVs thought in not including him in the sequence but from Mishal's POV, he did loose an opportunity!
i would agree on this.. for those industry people who don't know about LTL, Mishal and Mahi would definitely get an opportunity to get noticed..but how much mishal will have the opportunity to display his talent in this very short time? i mean sometimes people will quickly notice the talent rather than just 2 people on screen with salman...
but yes while shooting with salman he would have got ample time where maybe salman would have noticed his passion for work.. maybe on that front mishal lost out..
