Like we keep saying he does not know Naku fully. He took his experience from gifting his sisters and applied it to Naku, he didn't want to show that he differentiates between them. Equality for all -- if this was ordinary kitchen politics than he was being a smart man! 😆 Yet for Naku it made her uncomfortable as she is still unsure about their relationship and not accustomed to expensive gifts. Kala jumped on this and twisted it to her advantage making Dutta feel remorseful for letting that interpretation come up again.

Remember when he gifted her the pendant, even then she tried to refuse but he placed it in her hand and her protests died on her tongue. If he'd given it to her himself in private, the same would have ensued.

Best line about yesterday was when Naku said that Dutta's love is her biggest gehna! That was simply beautiful. I wished Dutta heard that!
