Observation on today

I, like all of you, am thrilled to finally, finally see Dutta feel and express his love for Naku. It was the best hug I could have asked for! I'm already looking forward to the LS and other moments. 😉

I have one question for you. I read a post earlier from Nazia about how much we all love our kali naku, how attached we are to her.

It got me wondering about something that I had always put to the back of my mind and if one of you can explain it convincingly, I'd be appreciative.

In hindsight, so if the point was to prove that a less attractive person or dark-skinned person can be loved for her inner qualities, then why did they have to have an apsara underneath kali Naku? That in itself is contradictory to what the point of the show is. They could have easily had a less attractive actress play Naku and still have Dutta fall in love with her, without having a voila! beautiful girl underneath--his prize for his love being blind to beauty.

We talk about this so much, and always praise it. And yes, the message should absolutely be praised! And the acting too! And the writing too! I'm covering my bases so I don't get accused of heresy of sorts. 😆

But why the apsara or beautiful girl underneath? What does that prove? That Dutta loved the kali Naku? We already saw that today when he acknowledged her as his wife and hugs her. So why the reveal to a beautiful woman??? To prove that a pretty woman can be loved too, despite her shaap? 😆 Or how hard life is for a pretty woman if she is poor? How depraved men are to powerless beautiful women?

i think it wasnt jus 2 prove this point but also that true beauty isnt always a blessing to every1..for some people it becomes their lives biggest hurdle which it has been in the case of naku...

i think the CV's wntd 2 emphasise a point to consider the inner beauty of a person rather than their outer beauty like many other shows hav dne too in the past (i.e. bidaai and saath phere) but i think the CV's wnted to display this point in a totally different n unique manner and thus showed a beautiful girl made 2 luk dark n ugly n hw stil despite tht, her tru n honest nature makes dutta fall in love with her...

hats off to the CV's for coming up with such a strong and lovely character like nakusha... dark or fair i stil love naku...she has the sweetest personality..but stil i wud like dutta 2 knw of her true face... their shudnt b any secrets between thm seein as tho they both hav accepted one another😳

I think what you mentioned about it being the twist, new and sensational, is probably the reason.

I want Naku to tell Dutta soon too. The sooner the better. I think Naku is itching to tell him, because of the guilt, especially now that she knows how he feels. Let's hope Kala doesn't beat her to it. Otherwise...ouch...it'll be painful to watch!

I dont know i would be able to make u clear my point.. but this is what i feel abt the whole concept.

The concept i feel is not Only abt a MAn falling in love with an unattractive girl i believe. They wanted to show the difference between how most of Us treat an ugly and a beautiful women.. how easy it is for majority to fall in love with the one who is attractive .. Its not just abt a don falling in love with an ugly girl..The whole morey Angle gives an insight to the concept. his sole purpose was to use her beauty in every way he can... a harsh truth of our society but there are Such monsters.. and beauty for a poor girl is indeed a curse...so, many shape and kinds of men are covered in this concept along with a beautiful Love story..

Also i have heard, this whole soot applying thing(excluding the love story) is actually inspired by a real life story.

the CV's did not only want to have a love story here but also wanted to show what problems a fair girl and a dark girl have in society what difficulties girls (fair/dark)face in a community..LTL is here for giving a message to the viewers.

also the reason can be that the CV's are trying to say that a person cannot be judged on the basis of colour of a person...its not that only fair ppl are good OR dark ppl are good ..the point is that, whether one is fair or not, its the inner beauty that matters....dutta, NOW thinks that pretty faced women are betrayers but he will soon come to know that nakku was, and is the same irrespective of the 'color'..so u cant judge 1 on the basis of color.And other people who think that beaty is the top most priority are also duped ..eg. seema ,sups were pretty but betrayed dutta,kala who is also extremely graceful but a serpent inside.

nakku was made to colour her face so that kali nakku could be a contrast to the gori nakku...and this contrast could have only be done using a single character...focusing the problems the kali nakku faces and gori nakku faces...kali nakku faced humiliation while gori nakku was always molested by men

if we would have had only a dark faced girl then the CV's would never get a chance to have malmal or anna in the track, people who give beauty the top most priority! and wouldnt have gotten a chance to know about the evil side of men..and their mentality which is an essential part of LTL.

another thing which i personally feel is that dutta is the one who has fallen for the kali nakku ...something tat is not easy and for his decision his prize would be a gori nakku. for him both will be equal as its the person who matters but still god has had a beautiful girl for him a woman who is beautiful at heart as well as ohysically pretty!
