I have an honest question about Raaki??? I feel that this celebration is very sexist???? Can someone explain to me why and how it came to be and why it celebrates brothers...because personally I feel that a celebration liek this only perpetuates the notion that we should have boys and girls are inferior???

However with that being said I'm not really sure what the origins of this holiday are and I have never really had anyone explain it to me...so your help with this would be appreciated.
