Will Love force Dutta to change? - Page 2

Great question. I've thought of it too on a few occasions. I don't think he will change. Let me explain. A don is a don. But I do think Dutta can go a little bit more legit, less violent or as much as possible. I don't think Naku will ask him to change, nor expect it from he. She will expect that he continue to be just or at least a better judge of justice. 😆

With regards to kids, haiye haiye, I don't think having them will change Dutta's profession, it will for sure change Dutta the man. Additionally, can you even just stop being a don? It seems a lot of people would have it in for you.

One love failure made him a don and this same profession got him his love nakusha.This profession is a major part of his life so i wonder whether he can leave it.As far as I know in such professions once a person enters it he cannot leave it.In datta's case also this may be true.But at the same time it involves a lot of risk for his family members but i think they all have learnt to live with it from 10yrs since he became don so naku can also follow the same.As long as he is killing the bad people and helping the poor i feel he should continue this profession.

Intersting question Anu...and I have thought abt it many times...I am sure this question will come up in Dutta's life at some point. So far we have seen Dutta isnt proud of what he does but he has also said he doesnt really have a choice to leave his profession if he has to stay alive. But during Supriya's time he was willing to slow down. That might cause him to lose some edge in his area but I guess that would be acceptable to dutta as he is not power-hungry. I think initially thats what dutta will be doing ie slowing down.
But I am sure if ever dutta feels that his profession is explicitly a threat to Naku or his kids he will want to give it up. But then why would his professional rivals be interested in his family if they can get their hands on Dutta? Only his sisters and the BH want to get rid of Naku. So i feel only situation dutta might decide to give up his profession is if he realizes that the people for whom he continued in the profession for 10 years are all fake and they are after naku for the money he has made. Dutta can easily take on 10 rivals outside but not his own family members.
But even then it will not be so easy for him to give it all up. so i guess only way he can give it up is to make the world think he(and Naku) died and disappear into India's teeming masses. and coming to the question what he will do? lets not forget he was a mechanic at one point in his life. I am sure naku wont mind it if dutta became a mechanic again and they lived in a small house in some obscure place. or maybe since dutta over the years has proved to be a good businessman he can slowly become a garage owner too.

Dutta found Naku because of his profession and this very profession is what is going to get them close. So i think right now i wouldnt want him to change. Moreover will his sisters let him leave this profession so easily.. i mean he is earning loads of money out of it and thats all they want and care about and a comfortable existence...they may not warm up to the idea of him going back to his honest ways of earning a living which may bring them back financially to what they were 10 yrs agao.

he wanted her or his better half to understand the nature of his profession .......that he could die any day any time.......
at the same time he dreamt of being a good husband n a father but never did he consider changing....no never.....this thought din cross his mind

n how wud he change he has come way too far on this profession....if he has decided upon leaving his profession then either he has to be in jail or dead or act as if dead n take his family somewhere else

but even after he falls for nakku accepts her as a wife has a child with her he won't think of changing but again situations are never the same.....

I think the problem is not if He wants to change or not. The problem here is that he has come way too far to go back. There must be a bunch of people just waiting for this day- enemies, police... . He can't just quit just like that.

He's not that proud of his profession himself, we all know that I think. But that's him, and back then, when he was supposed to marry Supriya he made it clear that his wife will have to accept him the way he is. I don't think he was being arrogant then, he just knows and has accepted that there is no other way.

In the movie Nayagan by Mani Ratnam with Kamal Hassan there is a famous line (which I like to use sometimes) "Neenga nallavara kettavara? (translate into 'Are you a good person or a bad person?').

In many sense what he is doing is bad but he isn't all bad.

There is another line in the movie where Kamal will say 'In order to to do good for people, killing some 'people' isn't wrong'.

It is a very rhetorical situation, which can be interpreted in many ways.

I think Love has already changed Dutta and this will just make him stronger.❤️😳
