I guess only new faces got nominated. So I wonder how Mahi got nominated as this is her second show. Maybe becuz her first show came and went without anyone finding out. Anyways I am glad she got an award.

Even in the Best Actor category?? I'm happy that Mahi's work has been appreciated...but really how can she be a newcomer?? She has at least done 2 shows before...

These awards are all about garnering news...so I guess Mishal can be classified as a newcomer too! Perhaps Karan Grover too? That makes all the sense in the world, doesn't it?

Mahi has done an excellent job, but clearly is NOT a newcomer. But her role is so unique, so politically-correct, that perhaps she would outshine those true newcomers with saas-bahu crap roles. Or it could be new to a lead role?

I don't mean to be rude, I'm happy for Mahi...but come on...smoke and mirrors, folks...that's all awards are especially nowadays in Indian telly-world.

Along with her good acting, the credit for her award goes IN LARGE PART to the LTL character developers...do you really think that if she was not made "unwanted", a run of the mill average girl, threatened by men, smeared with charcoal, and made into an ugly duckling, that she would have this award? Again, this is not meant to be mean or begrudge Mahi, because she has worked hard and has acted well, but this is by large, the truth.

Awards are all abt which channel is sponsoring it...most actors from that channel win it with few from others to make it seem fair. Anyways I dont want to take away credit from Mahi. She deserves an award....she's been doing a fabulous job lately. I do hope both MisHi win awards in the future...we fans do need to keep voting for them as fair or not awards serve to encourage the actors.
