So, as promised, here is my contribution to our forum's collective well-being: 😆

Dutta had begun to feel wracked at his core...to be loved so openly and deeply by someone he felt something for...but not sure what. Love? No? Gratitude? No? What is it with this girl?

Dutta replayed Kishore's words..."Nakusha esi nahi hai...". Then "Nakusha Dutta Bhao's ki dharampatni hai." It was too much for Dutta...he was paralyzed by the emotions in him. He walked out to his balcony and saw Nakusha walking quietly, softly outside. He kept looking at her and finally walked away.

At Babi's insistence, Naku rested some more the next morning. Sethji in school, Ganpat somewhere though it did not matter. Dutta decided to check in on Naku after he was informed by Babi that she told her to rest more. Dutta found Naku lying on the bed...nazuk Naku, peaceful outside like she is on the inside. To his surprise, he continued to walk to her. He played back in his mind what she had said to him about her love for him. Her openness with him. His one-time openness with her. A part of Dutta missed that.

In one slightly hesitating move, he moved closer to her...wanting to touch her. It was like a compulsion...to check if she was real. *ALERT, ALERT*

He touched her head and hair gently, ran his fingers down her braid. Dutta could not help himself. He wanted to hold her...but he could not. He touched her bandaged hand, the small fingers underneath his hand. Dutta smiled to himself...this little ladki with the heart of a sherni. With one swift move, he put his fingers on her cheek and ran them down the side of her face...gently, imperceptibly...and finally to her lips. It was here that Dutta caught himself...it was a revelation to him...he wanted to hold her. Naku had no idea what had happened or the great turmoil inside Dutta's heart...but she would soon.

Nakku dekhti hai ki use chot lagi hai. Dutta apne chot per khud hi marhum lagana chahta hai per laga nahi pata. tabhi use apni pith per kisi ke haantho ka ehsasa hota hai. Nakku Dutta ki pith per marhum laga rahi thi. Dutta ko gussa aata hai or wo Nakku ka hanth pekad kar khintha hai per wo kuch jyada hi jor se khinch jati hai or Dutta ki god me gir jati hai. Dutta puchta hai kya kar rahi hai.

Nakku - sab wo aapko chot lagi thi to main wo dawa........
