SCENE 1

The weekend was almost coming to a close and so,they had to return to return to their respective lifestyles.Dutta called Baji in his room and said,"Mujhe lagta hai abb humein wapass chalna chahiye...kaafi samay ho gaya hai...bahut se kaam hi ruke pade honge..aur phir Aayi sahib aur Kala Taayi ko Roop ki shaadi ki shopping wagerah bhi karni hogi...toh jakar sabko bol de ki packing karna shuru kar de..hum kal subah nikal jaayenge..."Baji listened to Dutta's instructions intently and nodded his head,"Theek hai Bhau..abhi jakar main sabko yeh khabar de deta hai.."Saying so,Baji dashed off from his room.

SCENE 2

Baji came rushing down and seeing that everyone was around in the living room,he announced,"Bhau ka kehna hai ki hum sab kal subah nikal padenge...toh aap sab jaldi se apna samaan pack karlo..."Roops made a face at the announcement and strated fretting about.She wailed and said,"Toh kya bas aaaj ki hi raat bachi haimasti maarne ke liye.."She looked down and suddenly smiled as an idea clicked her..she said excitedly,"Aaj raat ko koi nahi soyega...aaj hum sab milkar khub saari baatein karenge aur gaane gayenge...Kyun Baji.."Baji scratched his head and said doubtfully,"Pann...Bhau ko kaun bulayega...woh toh kabhi nahi aane wala itna pakka hai..."Aayi Sahib interrupted,smiled and said,"Tum bacchon ko jo karna hai karo...par mujhe toh apni raat ki neend chhaiye hi.."Roops said excitedly,"Koi baat nahi Aayi Sahib aap ko araam ki zarurat padegi...kal lamba safar tayy karna hai..."Baji,still in doubt,says,"Pann..Bhau..."Naku,who had been following their conversation suddenly perked up,"Unki chinta mujhpe chodd do...main unhe mana legi.."Upon hearing this,Kala's eyebrows shot up and she turned towards Roops and said sternly,"Koi zarurat nahi hai kisi ki bhi neend kharab karne ki..tu bacchii hai kya roop...chupp chaap jakar sone ki tayyari karo sab.."Roops made a face.Kala shot Naku a poisonous glance and Naku lowered her eyes in fear.Dutta,who was standing in the corridor,came up suddenly and announced,"Aaj hum sab raat mein jagenge...aur jaisa Roop kehti hai waisa hi karenge."Kala looked at Dutta in confusion and angst.Roops jumped with joy and gave a victorious smile at Kala.Kala stormed off to her room.Baji,bewildered at Dutta's decision smiled and commented,"Kya Bhau!!Aaj chaand kaha se nikla hai.."Dutta smirked and replied,"Abb kuch bola toh na...toh chaand tere saar pe bana dunga...phir puchna kaha se nikla!!"

SCENE 3

Roops,Baji,Naku,Leela,Sundarshan and Dutta headed off to their respective rooms to change for the night gathering.Roops selected a pretty sleeveless cotton top and a long flowing,crinkled pink skirt.Baji readied himself in a white cotton kurta and blue jeans.Leela wrapped herself in a peach coloured satin nightgown as Sudarshan also went the girly way by wearing a black satin nightsuit.Dutta chose his usual nightdress,a white kurta pyjama.Naku did not change her dress because she had changed them recently after getting drenched in rain.She was wearing a sea green chiffon short kurti,with beautiful yet simple hand embroidery near the round neck.Wrapped in the chiffon dupatta of same colour,she looked angelic.She washed her face and applied a small black bindi.Pulling up her hair in a loose ponytail,she was ready for the night.

SCENE 4

Everyone assembled in the open backyard of the farmhouse,which had beautiful marble flooring with peacock patterns.It was big open area with a beautiful garden beside it.The creepers hung from the porch and courtyard walls.A soft wind was rustling the leaves of the numerous trees in the backyard.It was the most beautiful full moon night.Baji ordered the gaurds to switch on the lights.Yellow light flooded the backyard which looked even more prettier.Roops had arranged everything perfectly.They saw that on the cool marble,were a few gaddas covered with wgite satin flowered chadaars and pink coloured cushions.She turned towards one of the servant and said,"Jao aur jaldi se jakar garma-garam coffee le aayo sabke liye...tabhi toh sab jag payenge.."Roops turned to face everyone who were staring at her with awe.She said gleefully,"Batao...kaisi rahi meri tayyari.."Leela said happily,"Taayi bahut kuch miss kar rahi hai!!Hai na sundarshan!!"She said truning towards her husband for a reply.Sudarshan's eyes darted around the backyard as if searching for a hidden lion or beast and then nodded his head as if he was satisfied that no beast will jump on him.Roops swept her hands towards the gaddaas and aked everyone to sit.Dutta patted her head and smiled.

SCENE 5

Everyone sat around in a circle.On one gadda,Sudarshan and Leela sat,on the next one,Baji and Roops sat down.On the next gadda,Dutta immediately sat down and looked at Naku,trying to catch her eye.When finally Naku looked at him,Dutta nodded his head and silently patted on the space beside him,hinting at her to sit beside him.Naku nodded her head in a NO and looked around for space desperately,finally,she silently went up to where Sethji and Tanay where sitting and sat on one corner.She looked up and saw Dutta sitting directly in front of her and grinning at her.Naku turned pink and lowered her eyes.Roop clapped her hands and cleared her throat,"Abb hum sab yahan par passing the cushion khelenhge...waise hi jaise Hum Apke hain kaun hai mein khela tha pure family mein!!So cute na!!"The game began and the coffee cups were served around with chocolate chip biscuits.The soft wind was blowing and the night was turning out to be beautiful.

When the music turned off,the cushion was in Dutta's hands.Tanay jumped happily and yelled,"Yaayy!!Mamu ...pakde gaye aap...aab apko bhi kuch karna hoga.."Dutta held up his hands in mock despair.."Mujhe kuch nahi aata!!Baksh do mujhe sab.."Baji smiled mischieviously and said,"Kya Bhau!!kisko bana rahe ho....chalo ab jalde se gaana ga do...koi rapchik romantic sa.."Dutta nodded his head and said,"Gaana waana nahi...haan par shayari kar sakta hu..."Everyone clapped and Dutta turned to look at Naku.Naku lowered her eyes and smiled.Dutta started shyly,"Ankhen hai unki jaise koi jheel...hooth hai jaise koi jaam...unki kali zulfon ki ghataon mein din bhi chupp jaata hai...zara humein doobne toh de woh apni chahat mein...unh se milti hai iss dil ko rahatein"By the time the shayari had ended,Naku's cheeks were red with shyness.Everyone praised Dutta and Baji patted Dutta's back and whistled,"Kya Bhau!!Aaj tak toh tujhe itna romantic nahi dekha.."Dutta turned towards him and smiled,"Bas samajh shayari karna seekh gaya.."

SCENE 6

Naku was blushing and got up suddenly and said,"Main abhi aati hai rasoi se...pyaas lagi hai mujhe.."And left the backyard hurriedly.Dutta got up and excused himself,saying,"Abb main toh out ho gaya na...chalo main aata hua bhithodi der mein..tum sab continue karo.."He entered the house and looked around the dark shadows for a glimpse of Naku.His eyes suddenly caught a movement and a shadow moving inside the kitchen.Dutta went straight towards the kitchen.Naku opened the fridge and was pouring water in her glass when Dutta came up behind her suddenly.Naku kept the bottle back and closed the door of the fridge.She turned around and was surprised to see Dutta standing just behind her.Dutta and she kept looking into each others eyes.(And a romantic background music springs up.)Dutta lifts his hands as Naku looks at him fearfully.He opens her clip which releases her loose black hair.A wind from the kitchen window rustles her hair.Dutta starts moving towards her and Naku starts shifting backwards.Finally,Naku's back touches the wall.Dutta puts both of his hands on her shoulders as Naku looks at the door frantically.She slowly whispers,"Koi aa jaayega.."Dutta brushed her fears off and started coming closer to her.His hands slide down to her waist and his face starts coming near hers.Suddenly,the glass Naku was holding slpped and fell down making a clanging sound.Naku was hysterical that someone will come but Dutta put his finger on her lips to quiet her down.

SCENE 7

Meanwhile,Kala woke up hearing the sound and said,"Kaun ha rasoi mein jo itna shorr macha raha hai...Sab toh bahar hai....dekh hi leti hu.."Saying so,she flits down the carpeted staircase as noiselessly as possible and makes her way to the kitchen.She enters the kitchen and finding the switch,lights it on.Caught off gaurd by Kala,Dutta and Naku's spell is broken.Naku looks at Kala in alarm.Kala lifts her eyebrows and says,"Tum dono itni raat ko yahan andhere mein rasaoi mein kya kar rahe ho...."Naku,who near about to cry,says,"Woh saab ko paani chahiye tha..toh main rasoi se la rahi thi ki saab yahan aa gaye..aur galti se andhere mein glass haath se chuth gaayi..."Kala looked at both of them sternly and said,"Theek hai...aage se dhyaan rakhna ki..kisi ki neend na kaharab karo...tum dono jao main paani lekar jaungi apne kamre mein.."Dutta leaves and Naku follows him hastily.Kala looks after them and says to herself,"Inn dono ki prem kahani ko khatam karna hi hoga...Aaj iss had tak pahuche hai..kal na jaane kya ho...aur main kisi bhi haal mein uss Nakusha ko iss ghar ki bahu nahi bann ne de sakte...Sorry Bhau..tere pyaar ko tujhse door karna hi hoga mujhe.."She smiles devilishly.

Every scene you have described in such a nice way and Datta's shayari was awesome.I really enjoyed reading this part and waiting for the next one.Hope naku gets to sing a romantic song for Datta.
