everyone else esp aai, baji and his sisters seem to think he a great catch. but datta obviously doesnt seem to think so. in fact its told that datta agreed to marry after he met naku. i dont think the agreement is related to naku but its related to the attacks...maybe he felt he needs a proper family.
coming to the underworld don aspect even im waiting for that. i feel it will never come out in the family environment in the show currently because obviously he wont be doing all that in front of supposedly pious sisters and aai. thats why morey needs to come back in the show. morey and datta will make natural enemies not only because of naku but also because of their personalities and also because of their professions.
i also get the feeling that naku and her family may not realize what's datta's real business though there are enough hints.

I think he just agreed to marraige because of ongoing pressure from his mom. I don't think we've been told why he agreed to the marraige other than that he respects his mom's decision. I don't know if the attacks had something to contribute to that his agreement - I mean he's an underworld don, he should be used to being shot at.

And as far as Dutta's business is concerned, do we even know what his real business is? I mean we know he had shipments of gold coming into the port and that he got shot at. But other than that do we really know what he deals in? Guns, drugs or something else? So far he just looks like a powerful messiah for the poor. I mean he starts off where the law ends and helps the needy. But what exactly is his business - even we don't know. And I'm sure the audience will find that out if and when Nakku and her family find out about the specifics of his business.

Oo Lord! I just saw what time it is. Lol, ye discussion toh literally adhi raat tak chal raha hai. Lol, if it goes on any longer I'm going to have to be unfashionably late to work tomorrow. How about we take a rain check on this until tomorrow - continue where we left off then?!

I wont be late to work....but im surely going to be sleeping at work...prolly dreaming abt datta. 😆 anyways time to call it a night...or rather err day. we will surely continue to dissect tmrw.

You guys do such a great job dissecting the serial and characters that I feel I know them better 😛 I like your analysis because it gives one more to think about the show and put a different perspective on it. I feel like you put more thought into it than the creatives lol. Great job guys!

Btw, I was also very happy that Dutta stopped his sister from being obnoxious. It made me respect him more. I hate those spineless heroes in dramas who will stand by and let their wife or sister or whoever get abused verbally by other people.

And also, I want to see what Dutta does outside of the house. It will make his character three-dimensional. I rather like the action sequences where he beats up people or just runs around with the gun 😆. He should have a gun nearby; it makes him look hotter. And for an underworld don, he should be shown to have connections to other dons. Maybe I'm getting a bit ahead of myself but they have an awesome storyline and a plethora of characters. They can do SO much with the story 😊

now i agree on this...he so hot when he does those action sequences. on indian television all heroes are usually scions of a wealthy family or from some raj parivar. they dont get much scope for action and when they do its usually forced...designed to prolly show off the hero's hot body. but datta has lot of scope for action if the makers want it that way. only thing is trps genreally are good if family life of protagonists are shown. thats why i guess datta's been hanging around in the house for a few weeks now. but i do hope once sups is out datta gets to do some action.

I know...they show so much with the story...the story can have lot of drama simply because datta is a don. this sisters pointless vendatta isnt needed. a don like datta would have many enemies...why not show that enemity rather than the sisters trying to get his loves out of this world.

Our Dutta Bhao and spineless?! Never! I have high hopes from our Bhao - he's never going to let any woman get ill treated, especially not his wife. Did you hear how he was "raging" with anger when he was talking to his guards after Supriya got "attacked" by poison in her room? He is very territorial and very protective of those under his wing. If he's this protective of people he cares/respects, I highly doubt that he's going to stand by while someone as special as love/wife is treated in a less that perfect manner.

And also, I want to see what Dutta does outside of the house. It will make his character three-dimensional. No no, you're right on track. I'm waiting for his "underworld don" personality to be revealed too - many a track or two where he gets a chance to show us his "other" life. We've seen how he is with family. I want to see how he is with business associate and/or enemies now. Maybe Moorey can make an entry again and we can see him bleed again 😍.

@ kshreya2002: If our professors were half as dream-worthy as Dutta I'm sure we'd have been the most attentive students in our class. 😉
