Why Yash Pandit and not Priyanshu

hi guys,
it's been a long time since i was last on india-forums.the site itself was blocked out here.
i was wondering why was yash pandit selected instead of priyanshu...apparently he also was one of the actors who were considered for the role...it's not that i do not like yash pandit-though he was not too good initially, now i find his acting not that bad,and he is good next to vaidehi-i hope kt and ekkalavya finally get along and lakshya and vaidehi are together-they make a nice jodi...
well yeah as i was saying i was wondering why priyanshu was not finally taken for the role...????
Any specific reason?????
if not well he could be as well considered for karan-nandini's son, though he might appear old for that role since their son should be 20-21 years old and priyanshu does not at all look that age?????
