After being tight-lipped for months about her exit from Kyunkii Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu thi, Smriti Irani who was replaced by Gautami Gadgil finally spilled the beans at a press conference. "I was asked to quit the show because I became a producer." Insisting that she has no problems with Ekta Kapoor, Smriti says, "if they ever ask me to come back, I won't mind. I am glad in a way that I have created an image beyond that of Tulsi. I am not called just Tulsi anymore. Today I am a producer and people know me by my work in other serials I produce. I am proud of my serials." If Smriti Iraani was busy as Tulsi earlier, she is busier now after becoming a full time producer. Of her two serials, though Thodi Zameen Thoda Aasman, didn't make any impact her second show, Virrudh on Sony got rave reviews. The successful actress is now all set to launch a new show called Mere Apne.

didnt ekta keep a diwali party at juhu (or watver name is it) bungalow...where ronit flirted with dimple...etc.

I always told that both Smriti and Ekta are /were lying about the whole thing, there is something much more to it, Smriti told "I would be glad to come back WHEN EKTA CALLS as i am on leave for sick reasons ( where as she did many shows) and Ekta said "we'll take Smriti when and if she comes back",... if any of you have read my previous comments i said both are contradictory to themselves and they are just lying, neither Ekta wants to call Smriti nor Smriti wants to come back..now see its confirmed, the truth is out.
