Pulkit Samrat aka Lakshya of Kyunki… is quitting the show to follow his Bollywood dreams

Another Balaji Telefilms' actor, Pulkit Samrat (Lakshya of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi) has decided to quit the small screen to pursue bigger dreams. The actor is all set to debut in N Chandra's film as the main lead. According to our source, Pulkit has put in his papers at Balaji Telefilms.

Our source from the production house says, "Pulkit is leaving Kyunki… as he wants to get into films and has had enough of television. He always wanted to do films and is getting good offers so he has no reason to look back. He will serve his notice period and will complete his commitments before taking up his film assignment. Initially, he had requested the production house to adjust his dates for the film, but now he is all set do films only. He will be launched in a big way opposite a fresh face in the film."

So what happens to his character, Lakshya? Will he be killed and resurface in a different avatar? "The production house is still deciding whether to look out for a replacement for Pulkit or to create a new character to play Nandini's son," says our source.

Doris Dey, creative head of the show, was dismissive about the issue. She says, "I am yet to get any news of this. He might have had unofficial discussions with the production house."

Even after repeated calls Pulkit remained unavailable for comment.

no don't stop makin videos, we love ur videos too, if u don't make them then people who love pulkit will be upset including me.

I'm done....thats it, the only reason to watch this show was cause of mouni (kt) and laksh (pulkit) if they are not in it together then wat is the point!!! Im through with this show, the whole time i wished that kt and laksh would come together, now i think it is jus crap. I kept watchin it so that one day they can be together!!! this forum has been so great to visit, i have already stopped visitin ks forums....now Kyunki is gone too....watever.....im through with this show!!! Pulkit, good luck, but i think he jus thinkin about himself....i think that he should grateful that ekta gave him an opportunity, i wouldn't quit jus like that! Whatever its his choice, but for some reason all respect for him is now gone....i never thought he would leave this early. I hope the rest of u all enjoy the show....thanks for being such great friends....jhanvi, looks like out real kt and laksh will not be together anymore!!! bye all, and thanks once again for giving me such great respect! Wahi darling don't be mad at ur sis k? U can keep on pming so i can chat with u....Jhanvi if u ever make a video of kt and laksh, please pm them to me!!!
