There is a conversation between Thulsi and Ansh. She taunts saying that though he has lost but does not accept it. She asks why he wants to continue staying in the house when the relationships have ceased to exist. He says that his ambition has changed now. Initially it was to separate Nandini from Karan and make her his own. But now it is to make Thulsi reap what she has sown. His new aim is to separate Thulsi from her love. Thulsi says that they have faced bigger challenges and he is nothing!!
Thulsi and Mihir go to the party. The other invitees are Kumkum of Kumkum, Juhi of Sanjeevani, Pammi from des mein nikhla hoga Chand, lead air from Saaraakash, Mahi & Veer and a lot of others that I don't know L .
All couples around are dancing. Thulsi and Mihir look at each other when the other is looking away. All special guests decide to push them around and help make up their differences. Mihir and Thulsi do a few steps and each of them think it is weird that children often bring a husband and wife together, but in this case is the cause of their separation.
Damini, Ganga and Gayathri are present at the party as well. Gayathri thinks it is not wise of them to have come for the party after Thulsi's publicity. Ganga says that to help a woman get freedom from her insane husband is no matter to be ashamed of. Gayathri says that mothers should be like Damini, who has gifted her healthy child. Damini says that Thulsi has done much more than that.
Ansh watches his parents dance together and is angered. He thinks that he has to do something soon.
Mihir tells Thulsi that today is Ansh's Birthday. Until last year he did not know that we were his parents and they didn't know that such a son existed. Even if he has made mistakes, do not take away his rights of being your son. I want you to give him the best possible gift, your wishes (ashirvaad).
Nandini and Karan do a little bit of dancing. Ansh is looking at them from a distance and is frustrated. Mihir also looks at them from a distance. Karan finally asks her, if she will marry him? She is too overcome with emotions to speak. Mihir calls Karan and asks him if he is not ashamed of his behaviour. Does Karan want to create a scene in the party? And ansh who is also present is bound to feel bad. Karan tells him that now no relationship exists between Nandini and Ansh and there is no need to have any feelings. Mihir tells him that relationship exists between them (Karan and Mihir) and he would not like if karan tried to do anything foolish.
Again one of the special invitee asks Nandini, if Karan had proposed to her. She answers positively and adds that since she has been recently divorced, she has not yet responded. The special invitee advises her to listen to her heart and not care for the society and accept the proposal.
Karan and Nandini bump into each other and Karan pops the question again. She says that somebody has looked at her horoscope and predicted that as she advances in age, she will become insane. He says its fine. She further adds that somebody has looked at her palm and has said that with time, she will become short tempered and will beat up people. He says then its okay and takes a step away. She holds his hand and says she will never let it go.
Ansh has flashbacks of his first few meetings with Nandini as a reporter, the time they spent together and their marriage. He says he cannot allow anybody else to have Nandini.
