Thakural will be missing from Kyunki...

Anil Nagpal, scriptwriter of the show reveals, "Thakural will not be there in the show for a few weeks, as he has been jailed. His track was going in a typical way and it was fine for metro audiences. But I wanted to give it a more negative appeal. His darker side will be out when he is released from jail, in a few weeks."

Nagpal adds, "I will concentrate more on the Tulsi-Jas conflict. We will re-expand the encounters once Thakural comes back. Balaji has not instructed me to do anything more about writing the track, giving Ram some relief from his busy schedule. I wanted to remove the monotony from his track so that he will be more powerful. But till he returns, we will concentrate on Tulsi's emotional-family drama. She will now have more scenes with the family."

Interestingly…

A scene between Tulsi and Jas appeared to be quite similar to a scene from Karz. There was Kalimata's statue behind Tulsi, who was holding a trishul in her hand and her hair was untied. Says Nagpal, "It is my favourite movie (Karz) but that scene is not inspired from the film. If it does remind anybody of Karz, then there is nothing like it. I say this because Karz was written superbly and we writers always want to out do the rest. It is quite amazing that somebody was reminded of Karz, after watching this scene."
