Finally, Joydeep has undergone a complete makeover. The geeky Joydeep from Kyunki is now a cool dude. The male counterpart of Jassi has been resurrected to look, walk and talk like a business tycoon. We talked to some of his costars about their reaction to his new look.
Bhoomi (Reshmii Ghosh)
"His was the most awaited makeover and trust me, they have done a great job with him. Now my on-screen husband has turned into a guy who is serious and confident. Unfortunately, he will show no interest in me now. But one thing is sure; I will surely miss Joydeep's geeky specs!"
Daksha Virani (Ketki Dave)
"He looks very smart, mature and confident. In fact, he resembles Manav Vij a lot. I'm very happy for him because I know he has been waiting for this transformation for a long time. I think Daksha should also be given a makeover from playing a sari-clad housewife to a modern girl."
Nakul Virani (Naman Shaw)
"Most of my scenes are with him, so now I'm very excited about his new look. I am eagerly looking forward to sharing screen space with the new and improved Joydeep. He is a very good actor and I know he will make the audience fall in love with his new avatar."

"Despite the fact that I knew that his makeover is going to happen, I was stunned when I saw the brand new Joydeep. He looks very handsome without a mustache. He definitely looks better sans the Jassi specs."
KT (Mouni Roy)
"Joydeep had to follow a strict diet regime in order to achieve dramatic results. One look at him and you will see how great he looks. His attitude has also undergone a change in the serial but I'll definitely miss the good old Joydeep, who was innocent like a child."
