| The saas-bahu genre is passe now (thankfully), and shows with a crazy storyline, like Kyunki saas... should surely be pulled off air. Everything here defies logic — from Baa being still alive, to people losing memory, having their faces changed, and five generations living in the same house! every fantasy is being experimented upon the viewers. The only saving grace was Smriti Irani's power packed performance and needless to say, the show seems like a drag after her quitting. Gautami Gadgil's presence leaves absolutely no impact upon the viewers, unlike her predecessor. So, if declining audience isn't enough of a signal to the channel bosses, falling TRPs will surely be.
