Hi KSBKST fans and forum friends

There have been an innumerable views in this forum and elsewhere mentioning that Smrithi is better than Gautami. Well that is right to a great extent for the past 7 years, when Tulsi has been challenged on number of occasions. Tulsi always had been a fighter and always stage a comeback with a revenge and win.

For e.g.: Meera, Mandira, Ansh, Savita, Raj Bhasin, Abhir, Gujral, and a few more testing times.

Now the role is reversed. Present Tulsi is a subdued lady, lost everything including her self respect, and is a soar in SN.

Smriti's stature does not fit in a loser role. See her in Virudh [Sony TV] also. She is aggressive and a fighter, there also. Maybe that's why Smrithi is out of these episodes.

Gautami- a good actress too, seems to fit in the role of a lost Tulsi, offered to her. She is comfortable doing a role of a loser, and making virtually a begging come back in SN seeking shelter, alongwith Mihir and Ba. She no longer has the will to fight back, nor does Mihir. Both at this stage appear as lost in life

Looks like that both Mihir and Tulsi are in for a lot and lots of insults and

Maybe when Tulsi needs to fight back, Smrithi may have to be brought back. We are yet to see Gautami in an aggressive nature.

The change looks to be more character demand, rather than any politics within the Ekta team.

Comments and view is eagerly awaited

I agree with you ..

The Tulsi portrayed by Smriti was always a fighter.. to the point of being a dominating person . But I am also of the view that because of Tulsi, many characters were wrongly targetted and now they have turned negative- the biggest example being Eklavya..

However,
The new Tulsi being portrayed by Gautami seems to be soft and submissive- in a way she is more feminine than Smriti's 'Tulsi' - her mindset has evolved because of the trauma of the accident which kept her away from her loved ones for 6 months - the new Tulsi is more forgiving..

So I conclude .. it's really unfair to compare them because they are portraying completely opposite facets of the same character.. but I am enjoying Gautami as well :)

Smriti is best. She is strong person.Just watch virrudh and TSZTSA u can find difference between Smriti and Gautami.Gautami is good actress but she is not as Tulsi. She is so weak.Sometime i feel she is outsider of SN.She got shelter in SN.She is not strong like Smriti. When she said "Main Tulsi VIrani ho" there was no power in her dialouge.I hv stopped watching Kyuki.I could not see Gautami as Tulsi.

Gautami is a good actress, but to be honest she does not fit the bill to play the character of Tulsi, instead ekta should have introduced as one of the younger generation people because she looks really young and even after greying her hair she does not look old. As far as the submissive tulsi is concerned i know the script right now demands her to be like this but in my opinion i dont think that gautami will be able carry of the aggresivenes that Smriti cariied off while being Tulsi

I really wanted to give her a chance...well she is filling in really big shoes lol...but after watching the episodes (i watch them on tape) i was completely shocked gautami's presence is completely unfelt, its actually quite boring...it seriously made me feel kyunki had finally hit rock bottom. Neither is she dominant like smriti nor head strong...i think this new personality of tulsi has made the character weak...it has completly ruined a character which took 7 years to develop. I understand that gautami is not smriti but i dont think she should have replaced her....the character has become a weak "loser" (i dont know how else to say it lol) and really thats not the tulsi we know. Gautami is a good actress but she is just not able to take over this role from my opinion, when u watch her and believe ok thats tulsi there isnt one thing that reminds of u of tulsi. While watching i thought this is not a lady who could have stood up against her family for her bahu etc.. its more of a crying sniviling old lady whos lost at life...and im aware that the track was heading that way but does that mean that tulsi has to lose her backbone! and i really believe that the only reason that tulsis personality was altered so drastically was because gautami could not play a strong agressive character.

Gautami is a good actress. But she's not fitting in the role of tulsi.....
Her voice and her behaviour is not at all commanding...
But still....I think that she's improving..

y'know? i think the problem goes deeper than just the actress playing tulsi. the actress has no choice - she has to say those ridiculous lines that tulsi said in yesterday's show!! can you imagine the real tulsi saying such bilge? behaving in such a purile manner???!! never! that is not tulsi-daadi - not because she doesn't have the same face, but because she is not fighting injustice with every last thought and breath and loud voice!

i think the real problem is that the character tulsi has been corrupted beyond belief. maybe tulsi has been corrupted so that it fits the current actress better. but that would be so untrue to the story and tulsi, which once again lays the blame squarely on the scriptwriters, no?

i think it's time that we look and love beyond the faces of the people who play the characters and ask why the characters - and the story! - have to be such poop!! i think we ought to characterise the characters and the story rather than the actors.

line up the scriptwriters and cane them, i say!

See Smriti has lived Tulsi for over 7 years.. so comparison btwn smriti n gautami aint fair in the first place...n like I read in an article... she may not have watched smriti as tulsi earlier.. so she doesnt really have the idea of wut tulsi ws all about... she is jz doin wut she is asked to now...
Wen u talk of Tulsi... Only Smriti cums to my mind... and like evryone else I too want her to cum bak asap!!!

yeh i agree with you about smriti being in viruddh and she is a fighter but if she was in ksbkbt it would not suite her the role because like the family are kinda of against her so i am happy about that atleast smriti is not getting the hurt from the family members its kinda of selfish but what can i say weve had smriti playing the role for 7 years now we get used to her coming on our screens as tulsi and in these like 3 or 2 years i have been watching it i have got used to her because i dont realy feel emotional when gautami is playing the role but i think smriti plays a fighter and a stronger role in viruddh better than she would right now in ksbkbt
But no matter what role she has to be playing in ksbkbt i want Smriti Z Irani back because i feel ONLY she suits the role as tulsi No one else

this is my opinion
