And, I agree that you gave more examples than HP. Lolita really does have adulterated content and so do many other books. But, the content in these books has been presented very very artistically and unfortunately, art is something that Kyunki lacks now-a-days. And these books, I am sure you can't read till you are of a certain age. My brother is 10 years old and I am sure he won't understand a word out of that book but he surely does understand Kyunki.
Oh,come on! That book is in our public library...and children as young as your brother take it out.And how about HIT movies like Girlfriend and Murder, which were open for anyone and everyone to watch?
See, taking out books is a different thing out of curiosity and understanding them is a different thing. Yes, kids know and talk about sex today but that definitely does not make them understand the intensity of Lolita. No, no, no and I stick to that.
And about Amitabh Bachchan, he is a sweetheart IMO. Boom was a mistake that he admitted to. The role in Nishabd was not bad at all. I admire him for his versatility and his energy at this age. His cameo in JBJ may not have appealed to everyone but the admirers weren't less either. And, for every Boom by Amitji, there is a Black! And his roles may not have been appreciated but his acting never went unnoticed. So, it would be wrong to say that he does okay acting.
A SWEETHEART? Of course, bickering about who paid more income tax with kids LESS THAN HALF his age,is most definatly sweet... 😃
Yes,and by trying to pull a Jack Sparrow, he has not only made a joke of himself - because he can never be Jack - but he has also lost respect in viewer's eyes for trying to compete with youngsters.
You yourself keep defending him...
So if he can be 70 and come in movies-in hopes of revaming his image- why can't Kyunki continue in hopes of revamping it's image?
And BLACK?Pleasee...you should see the SPANISH version,it's soo much better. And the acting is great. Black was really only made for awards, and nothing else!
I think we need to understand humor here and not pinpoint someone like this. I am not related to Mr. Bachchan in anyway and I do not gain anything out of publicizing him. It just so happens he has more admirers than criticizers and I happen to be the majority.
And, I am an Indian and I do not watch Spanish movies. And, since we are on INDIA-Forums, let us please keep it to India. The Spanish version could had been wonderful, I don't doubt you, but I, and almost all other Indians watched Black and appreciated it. And since you said, what more does a production house need other TRPs.. so how does it matter if Black was made for awards? Well, that's your opinion but I think it was an admirable work by SLB, AB and RM.
And about Jack Sparrow, I can care less about him. Let's not bring foreign shiznit here. Again, let's stick to INDIA.
Well anyway, Amitabh Bachchan is in no way connected with Kyunki (thankfully!) and we don't need to go astray talking about him. I gave a simple Mithun Chakraborthy example and you brought up AMITABH BACHCHAN. Jo hua so hua, let's not bring it up again! Please!
And gaining TRPs is not all there is to success. People need to appreciate it. If 10 people watch Kyunki, and 6 people say that it was crappy today, I don't think Balaji has achieved anything worthwhile by that.
You don't think Balaji has achieved anything worthwhile, but maybe it has?At the end of the day, if they get all the viewers they want, why would THEY even want it to endd?
And plus,TRPs is all there is to a production house and channel.Do they really care who LIKES thier show or not? ;)
Well, since we are on I-F, let's talk about it as well. Since we are on KSBKBT forum, can you please go to the history and looks for posts that have admired Kyunki recently? The ratio will be surprising, I am sure!
And yeah, I am sure they don't care about anything else and that is what they portray as well.
