lakshya and kt are not married yet. and mayank is just a friend to kt and kt is very nice to him becuase he is mentally challenged.

Mayank is close to KT because he raped her. KT doesn't know this as she didn't see the face of the person who raped her. He did it in a fit of anger or frustration during Holi party when KT promised to play with him and then ran off with Lux delicious and then all the bad boys at the party (Manthan and gang) made fun of him and humiliated him.
KT was high because Manthan had druged her drink so she wasnt' able to stop Mayank or remember who did this to her.
So now Mayank really likes KT and wants to always "play" with her cause he don't realize what hes done. Only Damini knows what hes done and trys to keep him away from KT so that nobody else finds out...shes tryin to protect him cause she don't wanna see him in the mental hospital or in jail
