These days, Eklavya is shown to be like 'Ansh'. I think Ekta wants to give everyone a little bit of ansh of Ansh back, but Eklavya was shown more noble and nicer than Ansh ever was. Granted Eklavya is angry and hurt lately, but that does not mean he can go 180 degrees? He is dealing with his anger and hurt feelings by acting, by being what he really is not, and hence, cheating everyone including Tulsi's enemies to believe that he is really ready for revenge.
By mingling with Tulsi's enemies and thus learning of their plans, he can once again protect Tulsi and his family. Last time, he took bullet for Tulsi after being upset over the truth of his dad's death. This time also, Eku knows that Tusi will find the truth sooner or later, clear the misunderstanding and will learn to trust him more than ever.
The other reason I think this is Ekta does not need more villains in the show. She has retained ever villainous Mandira, and has gotten Raj Bhasin and in turn, Abhir back. By not showing Abhir as a rapist, Ekta has still kept him available for other revenges and crimes against Virani's. Akashdeep has already played a negative role before. This time, he is going to come through for the family, and will prove to be a better son/grand-son of the family.
What do you think of these logic?
