He should be punished because what he did was in a way of a proper rape and if he didn't know what he was doing he would have stopped when KT yelled and scremed but i think that he is totally normal and fine but to get out of this crime he is using his "illness" as an excuse becuase he knows that everyone will forgive him but what is KT get pregnant then what ???????????
Will she marry Mayank or will Laksh except her adn Mayanks baby i think that laksh will try adn kill Mayank but nakul will stop him becuase Mayank and Nakul are twins which will cause a rift between Nakul and Laksh ODD family

i think he should be punished so he can learn from it and not do it over...b/c if doesnt get punished then he would do it all over again thinking that he wont get punished anywayzz

If he really is mentally sick and has some sort of chemical imbalance, then instead of sending him to prison like how how a normal rapist would be punished, he needs medical help and attention. In real life these kind of cases do exist, patients are monitored, psychiatrically evaluated and close family also need to help with rehabilitation. Of course it is too much to ask of the victim, like KT to also help, but I think if she had the courage she could help him understand what he did was wrong and make sure this sort of mistake does not happen again.
But it is a such case where a clear cut punishment isnt going to fix anything, maybe there are more people in this world who are like him who are mentally unwell and do things unconsciously.

Ofcourse he should be punished!
May be no jail time but some psychiatrist treatment and probation.

i agree, his disability is being portrayed falsly, and its really exaggerated!

I think we should forgive him but these type of people who have this type of problems should be taken care by people who are able to tell them in their way what is right and wrong and what are the do's and dont do's in their way,in their capacity to understand .it is not the point that his brain is still 10-12 years then tomorrow if he murder's somebody and he can't just escape like that .Damini was afraid if mayank will be sent assylm but he should be sent to place where people like him are taken care of or he should be looked carefully and have 24 hours somebody with him who have the capacity to tell him,make him understand what is right and what is wrong ,instead of leaving him alone free as any normal person which is a torture for him and for the persons around him 😊

He should be PUNISHED so that he knows what he did was wrong and so KT gets her justice. He should be forgiven BUT ONLY if KT is willing to.
