was this a blooper, or was it a deliberate point to ponder? extremely 😕 and scary thought that it was deliberately done. 😕
* i wondered about just how long the entire eklavya-takes-kt-home to assault-on-kt to lakshya-looking-at-home-for-kt to kt-back-at-holi-grounds took in terms of clock-time.
lakshya thinks he was just dancing with her; archita-pari think she was just there drinking sharbat with them. of course, they're all mildly or wildly intoxicated and wouldn't know very clearly. apparently, whatever time it took, it was enough for kt to get assaulted.
* i must admit though: i didn't have much time to ponder. this entire show was tightly shot, tightly strung, and tightly delivered. personally, i didn't surface to admire lakshya's voice today (although, i must admit the first joydeep-lakshya interaction was sweetly done); didn't take time off to feel exasperated with karan and tanya today - even their time today was practically just right.
actually, karan was downright dazzling in that slightly doped persona he presented today. hiten tejwani was superb today (at least until that last "tanya", which kinda jolted me out of the show for a teeny while).
after having been fed poopy quality on filming/editing for a while, the quality on this show was superb. everything hung together in a fascinatingly terrific manner. they even had ditzy archita-ditzy pari fit in beautifully.
what does it take to deliver this everyday?
* pondering here: is it just easier to keep your audience locked into horrible scenes, horrible ideas than in happy ones? is that why dark things like a rape and hatred and murder are used so often?
what does it take to get lock-in on sweetness like lakshya making moves on kt, or eklavya and lakshya grinning at each other?
* of course, they got me hooked at the end: why, oh why, did it look like kt was beginning to freak out when she caught sight of eklavya?? 😒
is it just that after her horrific experience, seeing any guy who she knows overwhelms her with shame and the urge to run away and hide? as she did from her beloved lakshya? or was it that she saw the assaulter behind eklavya?
sigh.
you know that you've been watching too much hindi-tv-soaps when you are getting ready to sign off with the sentence "i don't know why, but i can sense an oncoming overwhelming onslaught of dark feelings and dark thoughts and dark ideas." you think i'm ready to take over the mantle of tulsi-daadi??
