Guys it is not just ekta !!!!!

I know everyone on the forum is furious at ekta for showing us such a gruesome thing as rape. It is a very sad thing to happen to any woman, good or bad, and even more horrible to see it depicted on screen. 🤢

But let me tell you guys it is not just ekta, just because she is a woman, she gets blamed more because we think she should understand women feelings. But the reality is rape sequence happens in every single drama, the south indian dramas are infamous for them. But they are created by men, so no one really bashes them as much.

Whether we like it or not, rape sequences are notoriously famous for increasing the suspense in a drama. It creates a lot of trauma, tears, court case, blame, hate, moral dilemma, pregnancy, and these are the things the creative heads feed upon. So us raging about it isnt going to stop them from showing this in their shows, if anything the more we say we dont like to watch it more the TRPs are going to increase. It is sort of a pradox, we hate to see rape, but at the same time we want to see those involved punished.

I know what you mean...I was supportive of Ekta the first...But THIS TIME ITS CLEAR SHE IS USING THE WHOLE RAPE AS A TPR BOOSTER WHY ELSE DID IT JUMP OUT OF NOWHERE.... COMPARED TO ALL THE VILLAINS ANSH WAS THE NASTIEST ONE!!! BUT IF ITS EKLAVYA - THERE IS NO SENSE what that you are genetically a raper - SHE IS THAT DUMB!!! I mean she didnt finish her studies but man IF THIS IS SO she will be bringing ridicule onto herself.

i sort of agree with you, i think bashing ekta isnt going to change anything. rape is an very serious crime, but so is murder and extra marital affairs, that has never stopped ekta so I dont think she will stop now. rape sequence on tv shows is hear to say, and if we really are against rape we should do more as women to get justice for those who are assaulted by men.

rape is a very stigma issue in countries like india and pakistan. people dont like to talk about it or in some ways hear about it. many consider a shameful thing to happen to any woman and they are ostracized from the community. so i think in some odd way by showing rape on screen ekta is bringing this issue up to the forefront. this will lead to protests and who knows maybe force politicians to take serious action against rapists.
