i think it's because the person playing the character sounds like he's admitting it is true?

but i am strongly with you on this: this is a nasty slur against mentally challenged people. it's not like there aren't cases, but to use it here... if there's no bloody important reason why the story has to move this way, i'd get seriously upset.

i don't know the source, i don't trust the source. so i'd prefer to wait and watch.

but if there is indeed such a twist, the whole team, the chairman, the managing director, the company - balaji telefilms - ought to be taken to court. i wish at india-forums we could get legal help on such matters. i wish at india-forums we could organise legal action like this. at the very least, i wish at india-forums, we could organise a whole lot of stinking national press poop for the company's reputation to suffer. 😡

I am with you on this.. I have worked with mentally challenged people and they are not monstrous like Ekta and co is out to prove to the world.. It is ridiculous to imply that mentally challenged people are a threat to the society and should be institutionalized... 😡

The other thing that has enraged me beyond anything is showing rape repeatedly on Ekta's shows.. What is this? Are we trying to prove that a woman is a weakling just coz she is physically not as strong as a man therefore easy to be violated???? This show is about a strong Indian woman lets celebrate the strength of a woman not atrocities against her!

I agree things like this happen in reality, yes.. but so do other horrible things against children too are we going to tolerate showing this? There has to be a delineation for tasteful entertainment.. How does rape and portraying mentally challenged people as sexual maniacs qualify as tasteful???😡
