Smriti Z Iraani Sony's forthcoming reality show Bigg Boss (inspired by the international hit Big Brother) continues to be in the news for its celebrity participant list. The latest name is Smriti Z Iraani, who has been approached for the show. Interesting choice According to a source, "Smriti Iraani is the most interesting name in the list. Endemol (the show's producers) did take the offer to her. She is busy doing two shows, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Thodi Zameen Thoda Aasman, and it would be difficult to get 100 days block dates from her. But it's still worth a try." When contacted, Endemol's managing director Rajesh Kamat said that he could not comment on Smriti's inclusion on or offer for the show. But Sony's chief creative director, Sandiip Sikcand endorsed, "We will reveal the celebrity names only in the opening episode on November 3." None of the participants on the show know the names of the other celebritties on board. When contacted, Smriti was forthcoming. It seems unlikely that she will do Bigg Boss in the first season at least. "I would love to be a part of Bigg Boss, but my schedules do not permit me to do that. I do not have dates for its first season. It would mean that I will have to let go of the other show that I am doing for Sony," said Iraani. As for her take on Bigg Boss, she said, "I like the idea. I would like to see everybody being grilled and watched by the entire nation. I want to see how many people can survive the pressure." The celebrities participating in Bigg Boss will be locked in a house for nearly three months (84 days to be precise) under the surveillance of 30 cameras, 24x7.
