According to each contract, each of the characters gets a specific amount of money, that is kept quite confidential, but early in 2005, reports were spilled to several key journal entries, that the main character, Tulsi Virani, played by Smriti Malhotra Irani gets paid Rs. 50,000 ($1000) per show, or in other words, around $405,000 per year (More than the income of the President of the United States of America), and it is possible that she is the highest earning TV Star in the history of Indian Television.

I am so happy for one thing she beat president bush in earning money 😆

hey how can that be possible? wht us president earn is US dollars which rate is far higher than the indian rupees....

That is alot money for a indian tv actress from india.but not compared to us. the freinds cast got 1 million dollars per show. uk has the highest currency so $405,000 will be 202,500per year.

1 = 1.90 dollars
1 = 210 rupees

I Don'T think tulsi was getting paid in dollars...... 😕 and getting paid more than US president i don't think so 😕 😕 😕

not exactly,,,,,,,,, because in U.S. you can live ur life even if u dont work and ur only one by ur self. and in india now days four lacs is nothing. in bombay i cant even buy a flat.....

fine IF she get paid $1000 per "show" and if KSBKBT come every single day which is 365 days a year ( which it doesnt ) then she would be making $365,000 a year.

365 days in a year*$1000 = 365000

well take the weekends out take out where she doesnt shows up for 2 sec. it will come down to something like 200K or less which is also pretty good money.
