Could it be possible that while in jail when Nandani was givin birth to her child that their were some complications and Mandira (being a doctor helped and saved both the baby and Nandani). From then on things were kind of ok between them, and when Nandani got out of jail and couldnt (for whatever reason) go back to Karan, turned to Mandira and is now living with her. But Nandani still has her good values which she has instilled in her child and maybe helped Mandira change a bit ( as far fetched as that sounds it could be possible being a grandparent in serials has been known to change a character). The way Nandani could hide from Karan who has all the money and power to find her, is if she got the help of someone with more money and power which so far is shown as being Mandira.😕 Lemme know what u think.
