After Saas-Bahu, Ekta Kapoor turns to UP-Bihari mafia Varanasi, May 27 (UNI): After showcasing the family drama of Saas and Bahu on small screen, film-maker Ekta Kapoor will hit the big screen through a Bhojpurii film depicting the dreaded world of mafia in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. The Bhojpuri film titled 'UP Bihar - Chala De Goli Kehu Na Boli' will be made under the joint banner of Balaji Telefilms and Sri Siddhi Vinayak Media Entertainment, media in-charge of the film, Shashikant Singh, told newspersons here on Friday. The shooting of the film to be directed by Mahesh Pandey will start with the inaugural shot by Ms Kapoor's thespian father Jeetendra in Varanasi on October 8 next. Singh also told that story of the film was being scripted in association with the Special Task Force (STF) of Uttar Pradesh Police.
The film will be shot exclusively in East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar amid tight security.
