From the malicious Gomzi Bhai to the Star Parivar's Best Bhai, Sumit Sachdev's role in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi has sure gone down well with viewers. An architect- turned-actor who took a break from designing structures for an Amir Raza Hussain play The Fifty Day War, it's been one long successful stretch.

Says he, "I don't know what the Star Parivar award means for others. But for me it means a lot. It's taken me two years to evolve from a brat to a responsible adult. I've loved every minute of this amazing journey." That he "loved every minute of it" was evident from Sumit's emotional speech which lasted for over 15 minutes (y-a-w-n). " I got carried away," he says somewhat sheepishly.

And with the way his acting skills have improved, it's definitely not his last award. "It's just a matter of enjoying what you do. I've put in all my energies doing it," says he.

Surprisingly his debut film Khaall left audiences cold. But that's not crushed him. He says he's now decided not to digress but to stick to the tried and tested (KSBKBT).

"Viewers will just have to wait for my re-entry into Bollywood." After Khaall no one's really missing him.
