Baa consoles thulsi. She says that Thakurji will take care of Nakul and Bhoomi. Thulsi hopes that if Mihir was at home, he would take care of things.
Gautam wakes up in the midst of the night, highly anxious. He says in his dream he saw that kidnappers was holding Nakul by his legs and were threatening to let it go. Damini asks him to relax.
Gautam, Saahil, Karan and Thulsi speak to others and try to see if they can make up twenty crores. They borrow some from the market. Sell a bit of their shares and delay a few payments. It is discovered that Mohini has four crores in her account. When she says payment to Deepak is due, Gautam says that they will take the contract from him forever. Mohini is shocked and says will speak about the payments later, children are more important. There is a Fixed Deposit in Mihir's name. The bank releases it on its risk with Thulsi's signatures.
Meera goes to Shanthiniketan and asks Tanya if she will support Ganga in the contest for Nakul case. Tanya agrees. Savitha who is present there is angry and asks Tanya if she will go against Gautam. Tanya says she is supporting Ganga as she can understand her feelings. (Such a huge house and no privacy ever??) Savitha asks Meera why she is handling personal cases. Meera says Mr.Mihir Virani is her boss and he has not asked her to stop private practise. As she is leaving Thulsi and the 3 sons come home.
Gautam gets a call from the kidnappers. They don't reveal many details about the details of payment. Saahil suggest that they inform the police. But gautam refuses. They walk away with 2 suitcases full of money. Mohini's heart aches
Gautam, Saahil and Karan are at the city Railway station. Gautam tells them that they will have to throw the suitcases when the train moves across a bridge. The kidnappers will count the money and then call and inform them about the location of the kids.
As they are travelling in the train, Gautam spots the kidnappers and is about to throw the suitcases, when Saahil says that he cannot see the kids. As they struggle, they pass the bridge. Gautam is frustrated. In between at home all are worried.
Gautam, Karun and Saahil reach home. Gautam updates the anxious family. Everybody including Savitha, Baa and Thulsi say that they should have taken some risk with the money and thrown it at the kidnapers. Saahil says that money is not important to him either, but he fears not all is well. Gautam is worried that the children may be harmed.
The phone rings again. Saahil picks it up. But it is Gautam's lawyer asking him to attend court later in the day for the hearing of the case. Thulsi is surprised that Gautam can think of the case under the circumstances. Gautam says that especially after the incident he does not want Saahil to be known as Nakul's father.
Karan is seated on the bed. Tanya asks him, if he does not want to follow his brothers to court. Karan says that probably for the first time he is angry with Saahil. Gautam was right on the occasion. Tanya longs for Bhoomi. The inspector calls karan and says that they could trace the car in which the kids were kidnapped. The rest of the conversation proves to be quite shocking to karan. (Only music played). After the call, he takes Tanya to court promising her that he would tell her on the way.
In the court complex, Meera says that the adoption can be revoked only when the child has been ill-treated. As Nakul was looked after with love and affection, they stand a good chance.
Gautam gets another call from the kidnappers. They say the place is the same, but the timings have been changed. Initially it was 2.15 local train and now it's the 4.00 pm local. Gautam asks his lawyer to get an extension as he prepares to leave. Lawyer says that his case could be weakened. Gautam says that life of Nakul is more important than his custody. Thulsi is moved by that remark.
Saahil tries to accompany Gautam. But Gautam pushes on alone in his car. Karan, who was right behind asks Saahil to take care of Ganga and says he would follow gautam and ensure that the kids return home.
Baa and Thulsi are seated in the court complex. Thulsi tells Baa that she cannot go against Gautam in this case. She feels that Ganga has the first rights over nakul, but Gautam too deserves his child back. He is desperate to save Nakul and loves him a lot. Ganga overhears this conversation and is shocked. Thulsi also notices Ganga.
There is a special contest that has been announced. The contest is open only for the Indians. The question is "Who played the first Mihir".
