Dear Mohini, how do you feel when the music goes Moooohiniii to herald your arrival on the scene? — Bhoomi Hi Bhoomi, I feel great and thoroughly enjoy it. It's like telling people "Hang on... here I come!" Off-screen, I have kids going Moooohiniii whenever they see me. What encouraged you to play the negative role of Mohini? — Nabil Virani Dear Nabil, negative roles are always more challenging than positive ones. For a change, I did not want to play the goody-goody kind of role. Dear Mohini, what was the most embarrassing moment of your life? — Shiza Dear Shiza, the most embarrassing thing happened during the shooting of Kumkum, where I play Renuka. A woman came up to me with a chappal in Nagpur. She wanted to beat me for all that mean things I was doing on the show! Dear Mohini, what do you do in your free time? What would be your dream role? Who is your favourite actor on TV? —Tasneem Ali So many questions at one time Tasneem! On most days when I am free, I spend time at home. I cook, clean up the cupboard, etc, and spend time with my family. My dream role would be to do something no one has ever done on TV before. My favourite actor is Tulsi (Smriti Iraani); she is simply superb. Though you are too good as Mohini, you were more endearing when you played Jyoti in Kkusum. When will you do a positive role next? — Rashmi Tyagi I'm waiting for a producer to come up to me with a positive character. But Mohini is such a colourful persona and has been etched out so well that I am enjoying it. Do you have a boyfriend? What's his name? — Vishal Khanna Yes. His name is Sameer Nerurkar; he's a shippie. Even though he is sailing most of the time, he's just a phone call away. |
