Shobha is shown in to her suite by her mom-in-law. There is some teasing of Abhishek before he is let in to the room. He says that he is very nervous. She says that she was also nervous when she was with Vishal. Then she realises that she should not bring Vishal too often into her conversation. He assures her that Vishal and his memories will always be a part of their lives. She thanks him for being so understanding.
Karan and Nandini are together in another suite. She feels a little giddy and Karan is worried. But she assures him that it is all a part of motherhood. He insists on calling help and she asks him to not to fight at least on the day of their wedding; but she herself remembers her very early days with karan and the teasing they had enjoyed. They lie down and she apologises. She says that karan may have a lot of dreams about the D-day, but her condition…..He stops him and says that their togetherness is not just a day's dream. They both sleep peacefully.
In the morning, payal is looking at some files and hears the door bell. She calls out to Shobha to answer the bell. Then realises her absence and opens the door to find Shobha and Abhishek. Shobha asks her if she had black tea as the doctor had suggested. She replies in the negative. Shobha says that they have made a decision, either Payal moves to live with them or they would as she can not live with out payal neither can she dream of breaking the vows she had given Vishal
Karan meets Thulsi. She does not understand why he is here today. He says that he has lost his peace of mind after learning about Abhishek. He will speak to Rathe and find the required evidence. She stops him and says that now Shobha has married according to her wishes. Karan intervenes and says that truth does not change because of that. Thulsi says that Mihir and Thulsi are living the truth too, against each other and not separated. Shobha cannot face the truth and will just break down. Karan says that she is breaking down now. Thulsi says that it is preferable than Shobha facing the situation.
Nandini is in the kitchen. A yawning Mohini walks in and asks Raghu to make carrot halwa. Nandini says that Raghu is helping her at the moment and will do Mohini's bidding when he is free. Mohini asks Nandini to hurry up and says that she has come into the house before Nandini. Ganga and Damini come in and say that there are older and deserve more respect. Moreover kitchen is for preparing food and not egos. Afterall nandini has been the bahu of the house before her. Ganga and Damini think that she will make it a big issue and take it up with Savitha. Ganga thinks that they should deal with her.
The next morning as Ganga and Damini are preparing for the pooja, they find Mohini fast asleep. They needlessly blow the counch and use the bell. Mohini is annoyed.
Two months later
Shobha is in bed and Abhishek gets her breakfast and a teddybear. She says that he still does not how to gift something. Abhishek says that he knows how to lover her. She develops labour pains and is admitted to the city hospital. She delivers a baby boy. Savitha, Mihir, Payal and Mohini are in the hospital along with Abhishek. As Abhi looks at the child, he thinks that Vishal would have been the happiest man, if they had not killed him. Payal says that Vishal would be happy where ever he is as Abhishek will take care of his child. Abhishek thinks that its not a easy responsibility when its combined with feelings of guilt.
Mihir says that he is very happy. Shobha says that it would be so nice if Mummy was also present. Payal says that even if Thulsi was present, she would not let even the shadow of Thulsi to fall on her grandson.
