The ITA lends a hand to tsunami survivors
Organizes a mega show "TRU" to raise funds
The ITA is organizing a grand entertaining evening - Tsunami Relief and U (TRU) to raise funds for Tsunami victims; the president of ITA, Anu Ranjan told media persons today.
The entire television industry has joined hands for the first time to support such an honorable cause, she said. A core committee has been formed which consist of Smriti Irani, Kunika, Rakesh Bedi, Ashok Pandit, Rohit Roy, Shashi Ranjan, convenor ITA and Anu Ranjan.
"The response from the television industry has been overwhelming. The entire industry participated in the meeting, which we had today. All the channel heads, producers, actors and the technical staff have assured their cooperation. Some of the industry people who have not been able to make it today have promised their support", Shashi Ranjan said.
