Best-known soap bahus make a comeback on quiz show
Come Diwali and you will see two of television's favourite bahus together on the screen. Tulsi (Smriti Irani) and Parvati (Saakshi Tanwar) will appear jointly, facing questions from Amitabh Bachchan for the Diwali special episode of KBC II. Incidentally, both of them also participated in the last season of the show and managed to win Rs 25 lakhs.
Smriti Irani informs, "We are going to shoot the episode the day after tomorrow and we will also have both the Virani and Agarwal families cheering us during the show. Even last time, Apara Mehta and the entire gang came in to buck us up."
She further adds, "I think this time it is tougher. I am going to do my homework but it always happens that whatever questions you prepare, never actually appear. It's scary because this time around the whole world is going to be watching us and our report cards will be exposed to one and all. We better be good."
About the show being tough, Irani adds, "It's difficult. When we are playing for a cause there are so many expectations from people for whom we are playing. They obviously want us to win as much money as we can and so we are trying to put in maximum effort. The more we earn, the more we can help people."
Irani intends to help the patients of Thalassemia, "You know, many of these children don't live beyond 11 years of age. They have to have blood transfusions every month and the entire process is very expensive. I intend to donate my share of the money for them." Incidentally, both Tulsi and Parvati also appeared on Koffee with Karan together. Lara Dutta and Sania Mirza are also scheduled to appear on KBC II.
