Savita Virani, was the eldest bahu to Govardhan & Ba Virani, & the wife of Mansukh Virani. She was the mother of Mihir & the saas of Tulsi. Savita & Tulsi had the best saas-bahu chemistry on the show. Savita was given "mukti" by her bahu Tulsi, as Savita was in constant pain & suffering, & would remain handicapped & bed-ridden for the rest of her lifE

Mihir Virani, is the loving husband of Tulsi Virani. The character who has played Mihir has changed 3 times since the show has started! He was about to be engaged to Payal, had an affair with Mandira, had a son Karan through Mandira & also had an affair with Meera, who was responsible for his mother Savita's accident. Tulsi & Mihir have 5 children together, who are Gautam, Karan, Shobha, Ansh & HarsH
