I disagree!! Ekta is not be blamed in entireity, yes fair share of blame rests on her shoulders.

the actors too were so lack lusture!! they did not do even a little justice to their chracters, particularly towards the end!! The disinterest was so evident!!!

Shipa was the exception , who even managed to perform to dull as ditch water episodes

well u cant run a serial for so many years yaar..it has to end one day..n the main reason for kyunki's downfall is dat dey dragged the show so much..it shuld have ended an year ago lol..
or dey should have showed some sensible tracks...n kn track shuld have given more importace cuz its loved by one and all..

It could have carried on , why not?? as long as the old give way to the new !! KN track too got too boring at the end and theri magic did not work!!

well for me i can say there is one huge reason for the downfall of kyunki..
The SECOND LEAP..🤢
cz i still believe that if kyunki had not taken the 2nd 20 year leap and instead sticked wth the KN generation the show wouldnt be seeing this day so soon..they should have shown wt unfolded in the story during those missing years..how the kids grew up(such as bhumi) n how their parents (karan n nandini)were bringing her up..
and not the crap they showed us instead😡such as seperating KN😡
they should have shown karan taking bhumi to see her mom Nandini who went to jail so she can save her daughter's life..they should have explained it to her the truth that very 1st day..like that the story should have changed..if this change alone was made the story would still be reaping the best TRPs ever..
for me i HATED THE SECOND LEAP.n WT THEY SHOWED AFTER THAT😡

I agree with Dishu. The only reason I feel is.. it ran for TOO long. It became monotonous and there was nothing new to show. So the loss of interest among actors, creatives as well as viewers was natural.

i dont agree wid u..cuz noone from the new generation was impressive..there was so much hype for new tulsi and noone liked mouni roy..i remember in teh starting da whole tarck was shifted to laksh and kt's love story but dere was so much of critisizm for mouni's acting dan again ekta shifted it to old characters and basically if u r running a show for so many years..its becomes monotnous n audience wants change and esp when dere r so many new channels and gud serials coming up why would one see the same boring show..😊

yes I agree!! but my point is then the right choice of actors were not made for the right roles!

Reshmi Ghosh was briilaint so was Amit Tandon , Naman Shaw, portrayed his frustraions with his on screen life perfectly as Nakul ,

why were they not allowed to blossom!

the KN generation did not have so much hype so ppls expectations were far fewer!!

as I said somewhere else in western world soap operas run for generations!! The longest running soap on British television is almost 50 years old!! the difference being the characters age naturally and do not don grey hair as part of make up!!

Similarly soaps in Australia like Neighbours , Home and Away have been running for yonks!!

all being aired on Prime time as well!!

Kyunki's fault was rushing in with the leaps!!

the screen kids and grandkids looking like contemporaries rather than a generation or two younger!!

How ridiculous for some one to live almost 120 yrs and going strong at that!!

and even more ridiculous showing romance at 75+ and 60+!! whilst Indian culture has a different perspective ! 60+ women do not don spaghetti straps and backless blouses at least in the present times!! may be 20 yrs down the line yes!!

and as if that was not enough obsessive love---- this shd have been shown with some one of the younger generation!!

and the final nail on the coffin was the atttempted molestation on a woman of 60+ !! Absolutley Disgusting!!!

No wonder the viewers resented and put Ekta , her creatives and actors in their place i.e the DUSTBIN!!

NK's track was the most loved and most adored infact ght'smagic made it so popular over the years despite it being senseless .

talkiing abt young gen no 1 got any different track it wasjust repetation of the old ones and actors couldnot create tht magic to carry it on theirs shoulders .

ganga's track another lame one which was rbought for nthg and was totally silly and actually show ended finally .

so thecreatives are basically not at all creative thats why they made the show just slip away out of hands .Repetation ofold trackswith more silly stuff cannot be taken every time .

dishu i agree nk' track was defiantely loved and had lot of scope if only they did bring parth but i feel they knew they will be endiing cuz of the response they recived esp after this shiv ganga track so they wasted the episodes without taking any interest .INFACT SBS GAVE A VERY SOLID AND FUNNY CRITISM ABOUT GANGA AND HER TRACK , WILLMENTION THE EPISODE WHERE THEY SPOKE ABOUT IT AFTER FINDING THE EXACT DATE cuz idont want fingers on me tht i said some thing no it was said on saas bahu saazish and very appropriate .

kyunki had lot of scaopeit still had so much tht could be shown but seriosuly the lack of intertes t in the serial by the production house was visisble , they have left many storiesin complete , nk's son again no1 knws wht happ to that soon and so forth !

vedhei's track was totally unwanted 2 which made no sense theyhsowed her doing all bad and very badlyb ut didnt show her getting reform.

And if star wanted 2 end kyunki its f9 because balaji seemed not totake any intertrest in this show and as faras ihave been told starplus has got lot ofpressure by fans to shut kyunki . Only and solely balaji telefilms is to beb lamed for ruining kyunki
