Potential - YES !!! It has the best actors of the tv industry, the creatives are also the same who had once given the best tracks.

But the question is- where to bring the freshness from??? They've hardly kept the focus going on the new Gen despite the leaps, these guys just dont seem to click... and thre's always an option of starting new shows with new people, they dont have to drag an old serial to highlight new talents. People do like to see the old gen .. but what to show on them now???? Another woman coming between Mihir-Tulsi??? Phew !!! Tanya coming between Karan - Nandini ?? Not again !!!! Gautam appearing then disappearing again???? Misunderstanding again between Sahil and Ganga??????🥱

Where to get the tight storyline from???? When they've already exhausted everything. It should end gracefully before people get TOO fed up with it.

I agree TODAY is the most important factor !!! Past cannot be undone, so whatever Kyuki has achieved in the past will always be a part of it. But considering the present scenario, it is definitely true that people's interest from this show has reduced a great deal. So either u show something that can get people's attention back to it again or just wrap it up. Im not blaming any actor/writer/director for Kyuki not doing well these days. Its natural after 8 years, it will tend to take the downslide.

correct stry line is A MUST but one cant balme any actor for wht ever weakness are there in a serail.These actors actually made the serail so popular If only fresh tracks and good stryline is REQUIRED.The show will get back all it grace bUt i agree with devanshi that it had been doing so well for 8 yrs we must give it credit 👏

bt the creative team of kyunki only wasted de whole show ...

if ekta wanted they cud have saved de show ,,
bt they knowingly continued wid de stryline ..

i mean seriously . audience aint tht dumb , is it ?

kyunki in de 1st 2 yrs was definitely good
bt nw it doesnt deserve to be even on de television

one unanimous decision seems to be:
the show when it started had appeal!!

Why?? ( my pea brained perspective) :
1. it was fresh, very different from the run of the mill at that point of time!!

2. Joint family system was once again sort of revived .

3. all actors extremely fresh and extremely committed !!!

4. It became a national debate, all language barriers dropped!!!

5. was a family show and the cast suited their roles!!

6. and all this undoubtedly helps a show and in return also boosted the confidence on the other side of the board ie the writers, creatives, actors etc.

but in all fairness to the above: to sustain this for ever is far far from reality.
1. so much must be happening between the cast and crew during shooting ,

2. all stars at that time were almost a no body and suddenly every one became celebrities and fame acquired overnight in most cases gets to the head !!
3. so I am certain there must be ego hassles all round! which went to such a extent that the main protagonist of the show Smriti Irani who every one is accustomed to seeing as Tulsi had to leave !!

since then Kyunki started losing its appeal even more!!

4.No one could handle this huge responsibility and therefore despite several twists and turns ........

the Producer a very high handed lady had to eat her humble pie and bring Smriti back to see if the damage can be undone

Alas may be a tad too late
in most cases when some one makes comeback after a gap, it is never the same again!!!

so it is High time Kyunki follows the kahani route and bid adieu gracefully!!!! There is no denial however when it started it was 'hot and happening'

Komal and Devo...no one is taking away the credit of all the 8 years from Kyunki. There is no dispute here that Kyunki characters have become Iconic in every sense. But you got to understand that even KGGK and KZK were not less popular shows. They closed down due to obvious reasons. Do you want Kyunki also to follow the suit? 😕

The question here is - Is this Kyunki, that we are watching on 6th Oct 2008 same as the one in Oct 2001 - 2007? Does it hold its same charm ? NO.....

Solution - A good storyline can still do wonders for Kyunki coz it has got the best TV stars - SRK, Amitabh of TV are already in this show😆 and so if it falls from Number 1 to even number 2 position, we all should be upset coz we are the best .......

Regarding the people who are sying - No matter what the story is, we will watch this for our favourites.....all I can say is that "A minority cannot save the show from closing down"....Parvati, Mr Bajaj and Prerna's fans could not do it and neither can you.....

Cutting the Uncalled for long leactures meaningless taunts I'll juts say ritu .

I agree to denashi when she says that despite all odds kyunki has done well and is still in top 10 which is still an achievement! Not that i'm praising the so calledcreatives for their Bizzare tracks .

Coming to new shows well they r fresh have better tracks which still havent been repeated so its obvious tht will make better sense than wht ever is being shown in kyunki espically yesterday's epi It such an unfortunate they canm still do somuch with kyunki by showing good tracks but alas they r just going round anf round with same old silly tracks..

It obv kyunki isnt wht it started in 2001 definately it no where that the saturation point comes in any serail this way same will happen tothe serail who r new at the moment If they run till 8 yrs even they will fall down andfade ....Tht the life cycle ins't it?

Srk and amitabh are in the show if well indeed the tv's srk is in the show but yes a good stry is needed :)

MINORITY can't save the show from closing down well its in any case be it kyunki or any new serial too If a stryline isn't Good it will fade out If onlythese writers makers creatives can understand .

Bottomline is despite all odds if still kyunki is in Top 10 also its commendable especially with the kind of crazy tracks being shown But the kind of irritating stuff being shown is defiantely makingthe show weak which still can be rectify IF THE mekrs take interest.

I agree we shuld respect the success Kyunki enjoyed and continues to enjoy despite the fact that the actors who made the show successful aka Smriti, Sudha Shivpuri, Ronit, Hiten, Gauri, are not shown much and the story is pretty much crap at the moment. Kyunki changed the face of Indian Television, the reaon we are here is because of kyunki. If it wasn't for Kyunki we wouldn't have had shows that followed in the K brigade like KZK, KGGK, KTH, KKusum etc. Kyunki became a success, which is why Ekta went ahead with other shows. Kyunki is still in top 10, if not all, a majority do.
The actors r not to be blamed because if they do intefere with the script or something then ekta will fire them like she fired Rajeev Khandelwaal.
The script can be much better. Unfortunately, Ekta and her "creative heads" don't understand that and are creating nothing but crap. The Kyunki of 2005 is so different from kyunki. the stories in all her shows have become pakaav. If only they get back the original flavor of Kyunki then it will be back to number, it has just lost it's focus and despite that it is doing good if not great. That's something!
All Kyunki needs is a good script and it's essence back. then it will be back to number 1. But the bottomline is yes, we shuld respect because Kyunki created history!!
