They mentioned that Gautam-Damini, sahil and ganga are settled in the usa .only karan-nandini and shoba came to india for tulsi and mihir's wedding anniversary, and then returned to the usa . However ekta brought karan-nandini back to the show due to public demand. Currently nandini is tulsi's only supporter and I am sure karan will join them soon.

Just tells you how lazy the writers are that they couldn’t even be bothered to come up with 2 or 3 different countries to show that the Viranis are expanding their business to different parts of the world and hence the brothers have shifted to different countries across continents abroad. Sigh.

But then again, I don’t think they ever bothered to even explain or mention once what kind of business the family runs at all or if they’re a conglomerate, then which sectors are they working in.

Yeah, I know that but what I was referring to was what sort of business? Even if the brothers are handling their own businesses, what kind of businesses are we talking about? Are they into software development, import-exports, automobile manufacturing, shipping services, port management, communications services? What exactly are they doing to make a living wherein they are so rich and can employ 100s of people across the globe. That specific thing has never been mentioned.

Like you said about the story, I feel the cast sucks, especially the new gen. Also, May be an unpopular opinion but they should have gotta Ronit Roy to play Mihir. AU doesn't really fit the bill.

I heard somewhere that, Ronit is going to enter Anupama ... though it's long weeks ago..

Couldn't agree more.. Honestly I dunno why did Ekta introduced these Kapadia kids when she could have continued the same story with 3rd gen Virani kids.. Bhoomi n Manthan were both spoiled brats thanks to Tanya 🙄

Lakshya on the other hand was the good boy n Nakul was just lost.. I thought Pari would be Sobha's daughter when S2 started coz she had a daughter named Pari.. But this one she's just pain in the neck .. Bhoomi n Manthan were thousand times better..

And Mihir what a downfall.. In S1 Mihir had his worse moment too but this time the character is just shallow.. This is not the Mihir we've known, he's completely a different person.. Mihir loved his kids but never pampered anyone, not even Shobha who's his real daughter or even Bhoomi, Archita n Pari (OG) who were his grand daughters.. Then all of a sudden why all the over pampering for dost/business partner n saali ki beti??

And what's more annoying is Ekta is repeating the same story with Noyna now.. Wasn't Mandira n Meera enough??

Why not bring back Parth instead?? Technically he was supposed to be the next Virani legacy kid after Karan..There was so much built up for that character.. They even had introduced Sugandhi for Parth.. They were going to be another version of Mihir Tulsi while Tulsi was taking up the role of Baa like you mentioned .. Mihir was suffering from Alzheimer's disease if I'm not wrong..

They should have continued from where it had ended.. Mihir could have passed away n Tulsi coping with his absence n yet fulfilling her responsibilities of Baa.. Nandini becoming the saas n Sugandhi the new Bahu.. That would have been a complete circle within 150 episodes...

He’s denied doing anything on TV for the time being. Those were just rumours.

IKR, the Viranis had enough kids of their own to keep the drama going on for a very long time without having to resort to any cousins or extended family members to add to the drama.

The only thing that makes sense is that they wanted to show Mihir Tulsi comparatively younger than what they were when the show wrapped up last time around. Given that Karan and his siblings were all in their late 40s to mid 50s at the time, Mihir Tulsi ought to have been in their late 70s or early 80s then.

Ekta could have easily kept the drama alive by showing Tulsi as Baa 2.0, a stronger matriarch than the OG Baa, but dealing with all sorts of challenges. Parth’s return to the family, him finding his own place and developing his own equation with everyone while his half-siblings and cousins all had their own problems and drama, Tulsi in the middle of it all trying to keep her family together while watching Mihir wasting away in front of her would have been such a fabulous show.

I watched Queen Charlotte on Netflix, a spinoff of the Bridgertons not too long ago and I loved it. Yes, the show is set in a world that imagines a more racially diverse and accepting British society nearly 250 years ago from now, but QC was elevated simply because of the performances and a gripping storyline. A literal queen has to handle a whole kingdom, ensure her family has an heir all the while as she deals with her husband, literally wasting away in front of her. The miniseries had only 6 episodes but the very last scene makes you bawl because of its sheer beauty. You see why Charlotte becomes the way she does, and also why, despite it all, she sticks around.

It would have been an absolute brilliant ode to show Mihir Tulsi like that but alas… Indian TV industry has taken some sort of a vow - they’ll continue sucking. God alone knows when this curse will break, we only know Ekta is the one who cast it in the first place all those years ago.
