Uncomfortable or Tolerant? - Vineet

I recently started watching the show regularly and a big reason was the Vineet-Mona story arc. I always wondered when Mona was going to get rid of the Mangulsutra and Sindoor. I thought maybe when the divorce is finalized and the six months end. Maybe when she gives up hope of getting back together with Pradeep. Both those occurrences have happened but the wedding garb remains on!

This makes me further wonder - Vineet's character is always shown as someone who is mature and tolerant, someone who gives Mona her time. But now that he is talking about weddings and engagements I wonder if it is awkward for him to see her in a Mangalsutra and sin door. When will this tolerance change into discomfort?

Just a thought :)

I found it was little different on Vineet's character to ask Mona to take out and go shopping for engagement ring. He never pushes or rush anything..but yesterday it was different Vineet who really want to materialize it...anyway, still he is verrry good and gentleman!!😃 It is funny Mona is still wearing sindoor and going for her next wedding shopping...what a joke of her sinddor and mangalsutra..isn't weired!!! if you are still believeing in your marriage then better you say it out to your in laws who love you a lot and hurt them more.😡😡

I think Vineet understands Mona's plight, it was pretty apparent that with his conversation in his cabin with Suhasi that he's willing to let Mona take the time that she needs. However as understanding as he is, I cannot imagine anyone being ok with their wife carrying on as if they were still married to their first husband...

I am thinking they may do something dramatic with Mona's removing of the sindoor and mangalsutra. What I couldn't figure out was whether or not Mona and Pradeep are still legally married- its been 6 months since the separation, but it seemed like they just filed the papers and nothing had been signed yet...

Well when Mona gets married, she will have to remove Pradeeps MGsutra and wear sindoor from Vineets hands

It is quite sad that she is carrying on as a married woman to a man that is sleeping with his live in girlfriend

THANK YOU!
Gosh, I have been waiting for Mona to take off her Mangalsutra and stop putting sindoor but so far, no luck. I assumed it being an ekta show, she probably is going to show a dramatic removal of these things but that has also not happened.
Directors please, show Mona without the M & S before she starts wearing them again for Vineet!😳

I too have been waiting for Mona to get rid of her mangalsutra and sindoor however for her they are the final reality of all that she was, she'd dreamt off being- a wife, a daughter in-law, a mother within them and the removal of them means it all comes to an end.

I think there is a separation between mind and heart; in her mind she knows it's all over but in her heart hope no matter how small always lingers that possibility it's all a bad dream, that there's someway to bring back the past-that's one of the reason wives forgive their husbands when they stray; pretend it never happened!

I'm sure she will take it off but I'd like to see it being done as laying a ghost to rest, as an end to something that finished a while back. I don't want someone telling her to take it off, I'd like her to just look into the mirror as her hand automatically goes to the sindoor box and realises it no longer belongs to her. Then looks at the mangalsutra and realises that too doesn't belong to her and takes it off. No fan fair, no tears, no lectures from anyone just simple acceptance that she is no longer Mona Singh.

As for Vineet he's always been patient and tolerant with Mona but he has always pushed her even when she thought she didn't need it or couldn't do something. We have to remember that Vineet is a highly successful business man and so can recognize people; knows how to read them. He said so when Mona confronted him in front of Dadi about that girl he was getting engaged too.

That's why he was able to see the specialness and rarity of Mona and pushed her in her work and also one of the reasons he fell from friendship into love with her.

He also knows that she doesn't love him and that's why he said their marriage will be in name only; the best way to imagine Vineet is as a horse trainer who has been given a lovely talented horse but that has been abused by its previous owner,so is wary and scared and wants to run away.

Vineet knows when to relax the rope to let the 'horse' run but also when to pull the reins in; accepted her resignation but enforced the 1 month rule, allowed her to pay for the cake but returned the extra amount. He's never pushed his love on to Mona but nor has he looked ashamed of loving her nor taken advantage of the Alok situation.

PraCreep you can learn a thousand or two things from Vineet!

I also found it a bit strange, but it seems that Pradeep and Mona are both waiting for the processing of the divorce to be complete, since they already finalized the papers last week? I hope the final end of their relationship happens within the next week or two, and then at that time, Mona will take off those symbols of her dead marriage.

In the Indian 'tradition' having a mehndi and the ceremonies associated are not usual- when a second wedding is planned-but yes Mona needs to take off the symbols she has of the past.- then if she wishes she can start putting sindoor on..
