i dont know why we blame ekta for everything... she is only the producer for the shows... i doubt she has much to do with the story lines or characters in them...

I think Mona is acting just according to her character... sometimes we tend to think too highly of ourselves... and when we meet someone like Vineet... we realize what true honesty and character and humility is... :) trust me... gone through it... and Mona, thinks she is too good for anyone... she was just a simple girl with simple dreams and happy in her own married family life... when her husband had to ruin everything... and now, she has to go around everywhere like a magnet for ppl to pity her... but she wants them to spare her the pity... she wants to be on her own feet... and wants others to let her be... leave her alone... cuz she doesn't want to trust anyone anymore... she is too good to trust anyone... well well... MONA we all understand her situation... her pride is hurt... her emotions are hurt... she wants ppl to shove off and leave her alone... in this situation.. even if ppl genuinely want to help her or care for her... she will only think they are pitying her... taking advantage of her... but she will come out of it...

Just started watching this show, and already loving it.No offense to PS fans here, but I like the pair of Mona and Vineet.

I still remember,Ekta had a show whose name I forgot, but it basically had the same theme,a cheating hubby, and the wife ultimately falling for a younger guy(only here,Vineet is not younger) while she was still married to the cheating hubby. That show didn't last long,so I guess Ekta finally decided on this one, where she makes the same situation little more palatable with actors like Mona and Darshan.

there is an indian saying that doodh ka jala...chanch ko

because she is burnt by a d**khead like pradeep, she thinks all men are devils...fair enough but why is she expecting him to let her off early from work...friendship thread was broken when she slapped him...
happens...a friend for you may think of you more as a friend but she could have been polite and told him time to think or i dont feel that way...why act like that...if she is acting as an ass...she deserves an ass like pradeep...monkey see monkey do!

After everything Vineet has done for Mona

if she doubts a guy like Vineet, then she is a pretty bad judge of character

she could have told him she is not in the frame of mind to be in a relationship..and right now she wants to be alone

and even, for those that think her reaction was understandable, she could have called Vineet the next day or met with him privately and said she was sorry she slapped him

she never even apologized for the slap?!?

yet when she slapped Pradeep ...the next day she was falling at his feet begging him to take her back

and now Mona is quitting her job? and fighting for the custody of her kids at the same time?
what idiot judge would give a non working mother who is living at a friend's house, custody of her children?!?! should she challenge Pradeep in court and advise the judge she has changed her mind

and what Boss announces to his associates in a meeting that he is getting married and they will all know what the perspective bride will be? Maybe in India, but I dont see that in North American offices...that was so weird the way it was shown, as it was obviously pointed at Mona

I agree most of us like Vineet, and want Mona to accept his love. But that's because we look at their life as an outsider.Mona has lived with Pradeep, with all his faults and looked up to him as her protector always.
For a wife like that,no matter how understanding and considerate Vineet is,it will not be possible to look at him with a passion more than friendship. We want them to end up together, but if we think of the emotions that Mona goes through,we will understand her POV,and why that submissiveness happens when she talks to Pradeep.

Just my POV,I know it is frustrating to see Vineet disheartened, because I have come to admire him,and the actor in such a short span. But hey, miracles do happen. 😊

If I was going up the hill (I am over the hill so I know), I would have been blushing and singing and starry eyed if a man was on fire (the rain did not douse him) and looked me in the eye and grabbed my hand. I thought slaps were meant for come hither lines or some guy in a lungi making a pass but even that is exciting on the other side of the hill if you know what I mean. It makes me cringe everytime a woman is shown having no respect for a person who's perfectly reasonable, just to confirm to certain notions.
