Talking point with Aamir Ali

I've always wanted to get into Bollywood. When I worked with director Hansal Mehta in his earlier movie Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai he liked my performance. So he's signed me for others project called Raakh and Anjaan. I'm still not leaving my TV serials though; I'm better off here than doing stupid movies.

What are your roles in both the films?

There's no point in talking about them as I don't know when the movies are going to release. I only wish the promos begin soon.

Why did you leave Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii?

The serial was going into a generation leap, so I left it.

How does it feel to come back to Balaji Telefilms' Kya Dil Mein Hai ? Tell us something about your role.

Having worked with Ekta Kapoor earlier, the production house has always been like a home for me. It feels great to join them again. It is too early to talk about it but I am happy with the role.

Have you been offered any role by Ekta Kapoor for any movies?

As of now, she hasn't. But if she does offer, I will definitely go in for it without thinking twice.

You have been performing very well in Nach Baliye and Madhuri Dixit recently complimented you and Sanjeeda Sheikh as the cutest couple. Do you think you will win the contest?

I was thrilled and it was a memorable moment when Madhuri danced to my song. When it comes to winning, I don't have any expectations. We are just doing our best. I am very realistic in that respect.
