Kahaani's Bapuji is a bachelor in real life!
Veteran actor Deepak Qazir (Bapuji of Kahaani fame), who is playing the role of a grandfather in yet another Ekta serial Kya Dil Main Hain, is still single in real life. We asked Deepak about this irony.
"I have no regrets as most of my friends are females. There's no particular reason why I didn't get married. Perhaps, if ever I was at any fault, then it would have to do with my once-upon-a-time sarcastic attitude. Maybe that drove away girls away from marrying me. I'm enjoying my roles and it feels funny that I'm still single. Age is no bar for marriage but as of now I have ruled out any such possibility in the future," Deepak tells us.
The actor, who was also seen in Kasauti as Molay Basu, quips that given a second life he would like to be a woman. "The only reason being that I'd like to experience certain things which only a woman can experience (Laughs)."
So now you are in yet another of Ekta's weekly venture? "Yeah it's nice to be a part of Balaji. Now it has become like a family for me," says Deepak, who essayed the role of Assistant Municipal Commissioner Srivastav in the evergreen comedy Jaane Bhi Do Yaron.
