RIGHT GUYS ENOUGH WALLOWING AND SELF-PITY!

• losing the central theme- the love between Rahul and Kakun. it was there but got lost in all the who-ha. We got few very tender loving moments but not the understanding we had before- remember the scenes where they each knew the other was close by? They were great.
• bringing in NainaO without any story to go with her. That has to be one of the most stupidest plots ever. Had they put their mind to it they could've

i. made NainaO a ex-college buddy of Aman; she could've always been in love with in but not able to declare it. Finally she gets the chance to be friends with him, get to know him for she is prosecuting Rahul. We could see her jealous of Kakun and trying to destroy the marriage. So you have Kakun caught between 2 cunning lawyers each wanting to destroy her!

ii. i thought they NainaO would turn out to be Swarti younger sister and knew that Aman had killed her sister and wanted revenge. 1st she try and destroy Kakun for she believes theirs is a love marriage but later on find out the truth and try and help Kakun. You'd have this cat and mouse game between them and Aman- each trying to outwit the other.

• The worst part has to be how NainaB was forgotten in all of this! She was Rahul 1st love; he lied and cheated for her. She was Kakun sister; whom she gave her love up for-so she is such an important person to both Rahul and Kakun but neither bother to do anything to find her murderer or bring him to justice!

How would've it been that as we see Rahul makes Kakun hate him cause he wants her to move on in her life with Aman; so he's nasty and mean to her and she hates him. While in prison he starts to wonder why someone would kill NainaB he can't work it out and is frustrated- wanting to stay in prison he gives the tape to NainaO now you can either have her as we saw her or as Swarti sister but as she's is this top notch lawyer she smells a rat and starts serching for answers. Between the 2 of them they realise that Aman is the real murderer of course by this time Kakun hates Rahul, her marriage is not consummated for Aman is being the kind loving friend he has always been. Rahul is free the whole going to the pandit doesn't happen nor Kakun nor her going to Aman office. As far as she is concerned Rahul is guilty of NainaB murder and she doesn't want anything to do with him, however she still loves him nad comes to his aid i.e when he's hurt or unwell-they can show him having a temperature and no one around so she takes care of him.

First, hun, I agree with you completely on all points mentioned and now I'll add my own two cents. People, you know how long and boring my two cents are, so you better change channel. Lol.

• Aman stabbed Naina and later said that he had no other option to prevent her from stopping the wedding. But that is kind of strange, because before actually murdering her - why didn't he, oh I don't know, try and convince her not to stop the wedding? Why didn't he at least threaten her to start with, or lock her up somewhere like the Kakun-stunt at Rahul-NainaB's wedding? Stabbing her, killing her makes sense if the writers wanted to present Aman as purely evil - but they even question that later on by showing his sensitive side when Kakun's hand is hurt, or when he's so desperate about not losing her that he blurts out that he never wanted to kill Naina, but he didn't have any second option. Either he should have been presented as purely evil (even though that's weird as he hasn't even once for 70 episodes shown any signs of being a bad person), or they should have presented him as a conflicted person, a skizofrenic or mentally damaged person (although I think murdering people automatically labels you 'psychotic').
• Then there's how the people who cared the most about Naina, completely forgets about finding her killer, including her own parents later on. Rahul was down about Kakun being married to his brother, but instead of that turning him into a giving-up all-sacrificing winy man, it should have added to the anger of losing her and his childhood friend on the same day. The sorrow should have been buried for a while, only appearing in glimpses, while his character should have been completely consumed by finding Naina's killer, and punishing him. Same goes for Kakun. How could she merely weep and wallow, instead of investigating her sister's case. Instead of wanting to find her sister's murderer? And once she found him, she should have done everything in her power to set things right. No. She should have wanted revenge. She should have outsmarted him by giving him a false sense of care and love until he was lulled and tucked into it, and then she should have taken out her shotgun. Metaphorically speaking. Things like her love for Rahul should have been overshadowed by her thirst for putting Aman behind solid iron bars for life. Her thirst for showing her mother the murderer locked up for his crime. For giving her mother peace. Her sister's soul peace.

I recently saw some great episodes of a show named Mere Apne, in which a family's daughter is killed in cold blood. Her family, every single one of them, were fighting her case. Searching for the killer, wearing no make-up and no fancy clothes episode after episode, because they were completely obsessed with finding and punishing the murderer. Instead of showing the mother attaching to some woman named the same as her daughter, they showed her wallowing, blaming others for not doing what she should have done. She spent all her time in her dead daughter's room, wondering, speculating, wallowing, angry, hurt, in pain. Devi struggled in the start, but when finding out that Rahul wasn't the killer, all air and anger flowed out of her. And she forgot. The worst she could have done was to forget to keep fighting.

i have two suggestions 1)making aman negative was nt believable. he shdnt hv been negative at ol. he shud hav remain the old aman then 2)killing nainab was nt good.she shdn hav died.my opionins. i would lov a positive aman and no murder of nainab.aman was such a nyce character befor.

The idea of this topic is go through not only the mistakes but also what would you change and how.
I agree with everyone that post 30 the plot just lost itself however I think we shouldn't be so surprised as it began that way;

Remember Tapu? Well what about that werid scene when she changes the bedroom and he goes mental? Also she doesn't come for her only brothers wedding-werid.

The murder of Naina was not the 1st bad twist- from the beginning we can see bad changes;

1st- someone somehow gets into Kakun room and write remember what happened on that....... night 21 years ago. But we are never told what.

All part of the 1st mystery is the picture of the lady ho;lding Kakun and we know its not Devi for she was told her baby died at birth. The Sari and everyone expression when Kakun comes down wearing it. Also Kajol is killed when she is on the way to meet someone who knows about the raaz.

These were in fact better mysteries to what we get; Anurag says he has to go to Mumbai so how does Kakun know he's in Amritsa?

We find out nothing about what hapens to Dadu and rest- Kakun seems to have totally forgotten them in her search/love for Anurag-Rahul. For someone whos day began for her Dadu with her this must of been so painful for him. Also everyone including Kakun has forgotten about the father who brought her up but more importantly about her little sister! Hello Kakun remember you had 3 SISTER in total! Naina and Mansha but also Kajol daughter who you had loved as your own sister since she was born-so only blood matters?!

We talk about post 70 episode and how weak and whiny Kakun becomes but that is the same when she finds out the truth about Anurag. Instead of wanting revenge for what he did to her and her family it's all about getting him back! Hello-no one is that saintly!

Personally if it was me writing KDMH in the beginning episodes my plot would go this way:

1. only Kajol and Kakun know of Kakun marriage to Anurag, but she is still engaged to Aniket.
2. Anurag does to Mumbai and the pressure is on Kakun to marry Aniket
3. Kajol is being threatened about the truth about Kakun on the way to meet the blackmailer she gets hit by a car however she doesn't die but forgets that Kakun and Anurag got married.
4. Mami wants Dada to marry soon but his parents say that until Aniket marries 1st then its their daughter. Mami puts pressure on Dadu and Kajol to get Kakun married soon.
5. Kakun is about to tell the truth about her marriage to Anurag but before she can a letter from the Court comes saying that Kakun had signed the house and its land over to Punj Construction. Kakun denies it and finds that the owner is Rahul Punj. She tries to contact him but to no avail. A stay order is put to stop construction and Kakun realise that the marriage papers she signed were in fact the transfer papers of the land into Rahul Punj name and that Rahul and Anurag are the same.
6. Hurt and disappointed she goes to Aniket and tell him that she will marry him but she wants to destroy Rahul Punj for cheating her family, (she doesn't tell Aniket that Anurag and Rahul are the same or that she had married him). Also that they would be just friends until the land issue was resloved and she felt more for him then just friendship-he agrees.
7. Day of the wedding and Anurag comes back everyone is happy to see him and want him to take photos. Kakun tells him to leave, that she knows who he really is and will destroy him. He tells her he has come back for the LAND, (he needs it for his new hotel complex) but for HER too! She tells him that he will get neither and she will be married today to Aniket, he replies that she is married to him, she tells him to show her the proof of their marriage.
8. In this we will also have sub-plots of Tapur and her husband and also how Dadu eldest son coming back with his family causes problems in the house with Mami etc.
   

From the sounds of Ekta new serials for NDTV she has teken the beginning concept of KDMH; the loving family, the sweet girl, 1st love and instead of doing love triangles etc is basing the story on a situation which she could've easliy done with KDMH!

What annoys me most is the fact what we had noticed and had been saying that she had left KDMH story to her underlings and had not even kept herself updated or had no interest in KDMH. That is an insult not only to the fans but to those who commissioned her to do the series and to the actors!
