Questions for whoever it may concern of the KDMH writing-crew:
- Will you bring justice to Naina Basin?
- In that case, who will you use to bring her justice?
I do not think that I need to repeat how disappointed I am that the show has changed this radically. I mean, I believe that we have had our shares of watching Rahul be cool and controlled around Kakun in episodes following his Anurag-pretend game. We watched and hung on loyally, knowing that one day there would be an episode, in which Kakun's love would finally be returned triple-force and there would be absolutely, and I repeat, absolutely nothing she could do to stop it. For several episodes leading up to Rahul and Naina's wedding, I had complete faith in Rahul's love, because it was madness in capitol letters, and for a change it was nice to watch him chase Kakun like insane. It was nice for a change to watch him need her, instead of the other way around. I did not think, nor believe, that I would ever watch an episode again, in which his love would have dimmed even the slightest bit. It was too strong and too passionate to be dimmed again. But, obviously, I was wrong as in big time wrong. He seems to be in complete control of his so-called love for Kakun - and once again, she's the one looking his way, hurting and needing, while he's making new friends and new love-interests. How is that fair to Rahul-Kakun's love? How is that fair to Kakun? That once again she ends up being the beaten dog? In love, true love, you're supposed to understand each other, even the silence, because you understand each other's heart - where's that understanding in Rahul? He doesn't seem to understand Kakun.
I'd rather see Rahul romancing Kakun, even though she's married to psycho-Aman, than watch him cool around her. Sorry if anyone believes this promotes bigamy, but I don't give a damn if that's what it takes to have RaKun back in the game.
The show has changed in a way that I find painfully disappointing. The atmosphere and soul of it has changed. The characters, who mattered and who were as big a part of KDMH as Kakun, have also been pushed aside to make space for new and more viewers-attracting characters, forgetting that the show had some loyal fans, who were holding on and staying loyal to KDMH only because of the characters, who were already a part of the show.
Kakun: To her, there was nothing more important than her mother. However, there has not been even one scene between Devi and Kakun since episode 81. They have not talked about Naina, nor worked through the pain of losing her. There are 5 stages of normal grief.
- Denial and isolation
- Anger
- Bargaining
- Depression
- Acceptance
If the writers wanted to fill out episodes, they could've shown Devi and Kakun working through the loss of Naina, because that would have been sensible. Instead they showed Kakun jumping from sobbing in just two episodes - and mostly because of Rahul than Naina's death - to smiling and being the perfect wife and daughter-in-law.
Kakun was a fighter. To show her as a passive by-stander to Aman's crime is to ruin the development of her character. She has found out that her sister's killer is her own husband. She should be thoroughly pissed off and planning revenge or punishment. She should be trying to remove the tape, which Aman has threatened her with. She should be trying to contact someone outside the house, who can help her get Aman in prison. She should be giving a horse's poo on how the Punj family will feel acknowledging the truth about Aman, and instead be thinking about how her mother's feeling. Because her mother doesn't know Rahul's innocent. Her mother believes that her daughter's killer has walked free from punishment, and that her daughter's soul will never have justice nor peace. And all in all, shouldn't it be just a bit more important to Kakun to give her dead sister justice and peace than protecting Rahul and his family from the ugly truth about their perfect brother and son, Aman?
Devi; should be given the amount of screen-space used on Naina Oberoi's character and vice versa. I find it rather offending on the behalf of Devi that she's given less and less importance on a show she's been a major part of in order to gain Sanjeeda/Naina fans/viewers. Whatever. Point is; Devi is just as important as Rahul has ever been.
Kakun-Aman; It is okay that there are so many scenes between them, but they are more or less the same. I would like some progress on Kakun's part. When is she going to do something? When is she going to act on the behalf of her dead sister, her grieving mother and herself?
This is purely my point of view, and it's no offense to Sanjeeda/Naina fans:
I feel that from the moment Naina was given more and more screen-space, she's beginning to ruin the show for me. I do not find the same joy in watching KDMH as I did before, which is sad because I got so attached to the characters and story-line. I guess good things never last. But I still hoped that this show would, since it started out so well.
I, too, will be taking a break from it for a while.

ure rite it's boring to watch now., looks like Rahul and Kakon r being seperated 4 good, otherwise why bring in Naine O and no one is finding out about Aman.
Rahool should know what Aman is doing to Kakon.
Can't this Naina person see how Kakon is suffering without Rahul.
If they wanted then Ekta can show that Aman and Kakon's marriage isnt't legal. Remember that tyme wen Rahul put sindoor on Kakon's forehead, wasn't after she signed the divorce papers, if so then kakon shud be still married to rahul.
think the main theme has been lost. Aman needs to be punished, Rahul needs to win Kakon back, keep throwing them together until they actually acknowledge each others feelings..

Thanks Elysia, i didnt watch todays episode and by the sound of things im glad i didnt it seems that it was another DISAPPOINTING episode.
I also totally agree with you-there was more then enough to go on with the characters we had before NainaO was introduced-to put it bluntly Sanjeeda has been used to help boost ratings due to the popularity of Aamir-Sanjeeda. Which i dont blame Ekta for doing but she didnt have to be brought in as Rahul new love/triangle.
Ekta couldve easily of made up quite a few story lines-even Swarti sis wanting revenge on Aman or 1001 other possibilitites!
Ekta went for the most cheesey and oblious scenario and has cheapen the whole drama.
Well i think im off to find something new-ill continue to download and when i have tunes out further will watch-however please keep a plot update as i think the forum is the best thing to come out of kdmh and its good to hear everyones views even though i think the majority all agree that Ekta has a hell of a mess of kdmh recently!

very much agree, actully lthough i started watching pretty late,
loved rahul, kakun :) it was so unlike k-serial. now with marriage and murder it has become so bad and typical ekta serial.
was it that the writer's one year contract over and regular ekta's creative writer has joined the team 🤢
i sincerely hope that they stop this serial with solving the case and getting rk married.

with 80 epi stuff the serial was moving so fast 👏
now it was become so old dragging

You're welcome, shasha. I am also not going to watch the episodes for a while. I don't even know if I'll ever start watching it again - but at least I have the old episodes to warm my heart.
I find it immensely irritating that no one is concerned about finding Naina's killer. Nor concerned about how Devi and her husband's doing. What a nice best friend Dinesh had in DB, huh? He's not even trying to find out if Dinesh is okay. No matter what Dinesh said to DB, there should be something from DB's side. Same goes for Gayo.
Now, I am quite sure that Kakun does not intend to put Aman in prison. Why do I think that? Because if she truly intended to do so, then she would have figured out a plan by now, or tried a few things out. I can name several situations in which she could have busted Aman officially. For instance, all she has to do is mention how he killed her sister, and his confession isn't far behind. The scene in yesterday's episode in which he said that he didn't want to kill Naina, but he had to, because she was going to blow up everything - all Kakun had done was mentioning that he was a bad person, and he started letting out his full confession. How about tape-recording that, Kakun? Or should I say Ekta?
Like soulfry said before, Rahul and Kakun love to play sacrifice-sacrifice. But there are two kinds of sacrifices in the world, Ekta. There's the right kind of sacrifice, and there's the wrong kind.
When Rahul accepted that he had murdered Naina, he let her real killer walk free - so, this sacrifice that he made for Kakun was wrong. Because it resulted in putting someone else's life in danger, or for that matter not giving someone, who's already dead, justice.
Now the sacrifice Kakun's making for Rahul and his family is also wrong. Because by doing so, she's also letting Naina's killer walk free, putting other people's lives in danger, since Aman's so sick that if he can kill two women, why can't he kill a third? And this sacrifice of hers is ruining lives. Her mother's for instance, who can't move on and let go until her daughter's killer has been punished.
So no. I don't feel sympathy for either Rahul or Kakun. Their sacrifices mean nothing in the end. Because in order to do good, you have to use the right means, too. Two wrongs doesn't make a right.
Thank you, Ekta, for bringing us 70 episodes of wonderful drama and a love, which definitely touched my heart. Something that - along with Rahul and Kakun - I've never experienced before, either. It was amazing as long as it lasted.
