The story!!

Can someone please tell me the whole story of KDMH from the beginning!!

I can try. I hope someone will remind me if I made any mistakes in the telling.

Kakun, a small-town girl, lives with her family in Kolkatta. She has never been in love, and is the beat of her grandfather's heart. She never does anything without asking him, and she believes in everything he says, never doubts or questions him. Her family is all that matters to her, until she meets Anurag.

Episode 1-12: Kakun meets Anurag on a train and due to certain circumstances mistakes him for being her soon-to-be brother-in-law. It turns out that he's a journalist, who has come to shoot a Bengali wedding for his channel. Kakun's grandfather give him hospitality, and Anurag starts living in their house with them in order to shoot their cultural traditions and the upcoming wedding. During those 12 episodes we see Anurag flirting with Kakun and awakening feelings in her that she doesn't understand, and doesn't know how to handle. Eventually, she realizes that she's fallen in love with him, and that he loves her, too. But because of her grandfather's hateful view of love, Kakun doesn't want to tell her family about their love. However, a turn of events change their lives as Kakun's mother supports them in marriage, and so they do marry in a temple - in secret. But straight after the marriage, Anurag says he has some business in town, and that he has to leave. He promises to return within seven days and take Kakun with him.

Episode 13- 24: Kakun's mother wants to wait with telling her grandfather about the marriage. But as they get closer to the day of Kakun's marriage to the other man, fate once again interferes and Kakun's mother dies. Kakun is heart-broken and tries again and again to contact Anurag. Each time he tells her that he's coming, but he never shows up. The day following her mother's cremation, Kakun is desperate to get out of the marriage her grandfather fixed for her, and she reveals everything. On that same day she's also told that she was adopted into the family. Kakun is hereafter thrown out of the house, and she decides to do the only thing she can do now; find her husband. So she leaves Kolkatta in search for Anurag and finds him. Only it turns out that he lied to her. He's not Anurag. His real name is Rahul Punj and seduced her only to get signature on what she believed were the marriage registration papers, but which were in fact papers on a piece of land that she owned. Now it belongs to his girlfriend, Naina Basin, who wants to build a hotel on that piece of land.

In fact, he is getting married to Naina. But on the wedding day, Kakun takes Naina's place and thinking that he's marrying Naina, Rahul completes the ritual and signs the marriage registration papers. In all this, Kakun's helped by a stranger named Aman - who later turns out to be Rahul's older rebellious brother, in war with his father and thrown out of the house. He becomes her most trusted friend and ally. Anyway, so Kakun has now officially married Rahul, but Rahul and his family refuses to accept her.

Episode 25-52: During these episodes Kakun is literally put through hell. Rahul keeps on telling her that he doesn't love and only married her to get the piece of land for the woman he does love. Naina's trying to hurt Kakun in order to make her leave Rahul alone, and Rahul's family's joining in on the party with one mission 'make-life-miserable-for-Kakun'. But Kakun gives back until Naina plays a game with her which leaves her heart-broken once again, and she divorces Rahul - who, on the other hand, has now fallen in love with Kakun.

Episode 53-62: Kakun finds out about her biological mother, who turns out to be none other than Naina's mother, which makes Naina her sister. This truth changes Kakun's life - and now she wants to do everything in her power to unite Naina with Rahul again. But Rahul has other plans. He wants Kakun, and pushes Naina away again and again. Naina only hates Kakun even more than before because of this.

Devi, Kakun's mother, finds out that Kakun's her daughter and there's a mother-daughter reunion. Kakun sneaks a promise out of Rahul that he will marry Naina - and Rahul says that he has one condition. He will only marry Naina on the day Kakun marries someone else. This brings Aman into the picture, who once against steps forward to help Kakun as her husband-to-be. Only, he has started to fall in love with her, too.

Episode 63-70: Rahul is so angry with Kakun that he's doing everything he can to make her life miserable up to her wedding with Aman, and his own with Naina. On the day of the wedding, he finds out that Naina is Kakun's sister and the reason Kakun's sacrificing her love is because of that.

Episode 64-78: However, he can't get in contact with Kakun. Meantime, Naina, too, finds out that Kakun is her sister and she wants to stop the wedding. But Aman gets in the way and kills Naina in order to marry Kakun and put Rahul in prison. Kakun and Aman do get married and Rahul ends up in prison for Naina's murder. Later, he is released due to lack of evidence and we're also introduced to the lawyer fighting the case against him, who is also named Naina.

Episode 79-86: Rahul has admitted earlier to Kakun that he killed Naina, because he wants Kakun to move on with her life. But Kakun finds out that he lied, and also finds out that the real killer is Aman. Aman blackmails Kakun that he will make sure Rahul ends up in prison again if she opens her mouth to anyone. So currently Kakun's living with killer-Aman, Rahul's considering marriage (assumingly to Naina, who has started to develop feelings for him since she found out that he was innocent) and that's that so far.
