i think he is trying to save his marraige.due to that only he keeps on asking explanations.i think when sherlin truth will come out he will not hurt much like before.as he dont trust her anymore.heartbreak ka toh sawal hi nhi hai because he dont love her.and sherlin now cant be redeemed because makers dont want that .so let now rishabh ke liye koi nayi ladki le ao..and put these sherlin out from his life.although my heart breaks as their chemistry is really good .iam a rishlyn shipper.but now i dont want to rishabh suffer anymore.

What Prithvi said got to him because he will be losing the second woman in a row to Prithvi.
First when Preeta refused to listen to him and chose getting married to Prithvi over his friendship.
Now finally he is ready to move on with Sherlyn which is only attachment as Vir correctly assessed, he finds out Sherlyn has been having an affair with Prithvi.
Hurt toh hoga yaar and it hurt loads.😭

Attachment hai thoda for Sherlyn plus all her emotional drama in court & jail, she was genuine there and he could sense it. He could see the potential in her plus their relationship.
Couple of other things, she is Kareena bua’s friends daughter. He is not 10% close to Sherlyn’s mom as he is to Sarla. But he can also see Sherlyn’s mom is a good person who is looking out for her daughters’ marriage and supports Luthras unlike Mahira’s mom.
Plus it is Prithvi, he has manipulated the Luthras, Arora, Preeta, Krithika so he is still willing to give one more chance to Sherlyn that she too might be a victim here.
Plus his conversation with Sameer on going all out so no one has no regrets is applicable here. He wanted to give his marriage a chance and from his side he is doing everything to make this work.
But for that Sherlyn has to step up too. So he is also finding out how much she wants this marriage to work. I still feel if she came clean about the affair and would forget Prithvi he would find it in himself to forgive her. But for that Rishabh has to trust Sherlyn fully.
Right now she keeps eroding his trust. This way his conscience is also clear he did everything to save his marriage and if Sherlyn continues to betray Rishabh, he can tell his family, I gave my best and this is the proof you require to believe me if her infidelity.
With Preeta probably ending up in coma for the memory loss, they will make full use of Manit Ruhi Chemistry. Plus Rishabh on Mission Prithlyn was what we want to watch too.
