why adapt a kid now?

According to recent developments, there is still hope of Karan and Preeta. So why this new adaption track is planned? Is krishna supposed to be Sonakshi's child supposed to have been dead. These twists of KDB are really mind boggling to me. Any ideas?

Are they really going the adoption route? If so, it will most likely be Sona’s kid and will ensure her entry back to Luthra house.

Otherwise there is no story left in Preeran and the makers would have to focus on other characters who frankly have more interesting stories to be shown.

This show did not need a kid now as there are so many stories left to be told:

Rishabh- Sherlyn’s divorce (Each day Sherlyn is doing so much drama, she will be thrown out soon is what I feel). Sherlyn said she feels very lonely now as her husband is not around these days so she is trying to be good Badi bahu🙄

Shrishti- Sameer story ( Anjum is in BALH 2 now so don’t know if this story will be shown at all)

Prithvi- Krithika ( He is developing a soft corner for her and Sherlyn is annoying him day by day)

I can’t believe that they still have not brought back Rishabh. Right now the most interesting thing is Prithvi-Krithika-Sherlyn triangle.

I think Sona mentioned an elder sister… is it possible that Mahira and Sona are related?

that depends on the veracity of Sona’s claims .. if she is speaking truth.. I guess no relation exist between sona-mahira… but in that case they have degraded Karan’s character even further.. earlier he was just cruel to Preeta and a manchild… now he was a playboy.. (can’t be considered as infidelity since it happened in 2017… way before he met preeta… but he used to claim he never crossed his boundaries with anyone) … seriously made me question Preeta’s life choices…

and if Sona is just trying to trap Karan then there could be an off chance that Mahira and Sona are related…and she is here to take revenge from Preeran..

anyways the child actress is very cute.. and I am still scratching my head to comprehend how did they manage to get a 4 year old on sets during Pandemic…

Preeta has the tendency to take people who support her for granted. Rishabh, Shrishti, Sameer.

She chases the ones which are not so easily given to her - Karan, Kareena bua, Dadi etc..As in she puts more effort in them than nurturing the ones she already has is what I have felt.

Btw, Kareena was so good today. She made the case for adopting a child so beautifully.

Also Sherlyn has given an ultimatum to Prithvi to break Preeran up by Ganesh Chaturthi. Preeran ka toh pata nahin but expecting her to be out of Rishabh’s life for good on that day.

Sona too will be back I feel.

ideally she should give Prithvi an ultimatum to stay away from Kritika.. she is the new girl in Prithvi’s life as his wife…

The problem is Sherlyn has too many priorities now and she is struggling to keep up with them.😂

Sherlyn hates Preeta and that has been a constant factor. At some subconscious level she is still insecure about Rishabh’s protectiveness about Preeta.

She has always been the possessive one. So it annoys her if she is not the favorite bahu of the house and when Rishabh, Prithvi do their Preetaji jaap.

She is trying to keep Prithvi Krithika apart but in the process is inadvertently bringing them closer. Prithvi is slowly getting fed up of Sherlyn who bosses him around compared to Krithika who practically worships him.

Prithvi still is very loyal to Sherlyn and he acknowledges to Sherlyn that Krithika is very innocent snd he is just using her and there is a hint of guilt there somewhere.

Prithika are cute, I like their scenes.😂

The revenge mission seems to have been put on hold after their narrow escape during Prithika marriage. Besides with no Rishsbh around both are busy establishing themselves as best Bahu & SIL.

I am not surprised though if there was one person in the Luthra ladies who could convince anyone about adoption it would be Kareena.

I felt a bit bad for Karan though. He told clearly that he was not ready for a child but Preeta insisted it for the family. Even now he is being emotionally forced to agree to adoption for Preeta. Though Kareena totally left it to Preeran to take the decision but in the end he had no choice but to agree.

It was good to see the Luthra ladies welcoming the idea of option, redeeming themselves a bit. But Mahesh I don’t know what they are doing to his character.

Maybe he will cheer up once Rishabh comes back. Mahesh Luthra is one of the best ITV dad, so hope they bring the lively wise Mahesh back soon.
