I know I know this all seems very unreasonably timed, and truthfully it is. The makers have the right to take cinematic liberties in terms of time. In my mind as long as character who is pregnant is not being shown to celebrate the same 'festival' twice within the span of his/her pregnancy the timeline is fine enough. (🤪) It may not seem that way but he truth is the makers have actually been very careful in terms of celebrating events (up until now). I know this is a little sketchy but hear me out.
So the first event in Kundali Bhagya was actually the 2017 Kritika ki shaadi then Ganesh Utsav 2017, followed by, Rishabh-Sherlyn Sagai, Karwachauth and Preeta-Prithvi Roka.-Sherlyn was NOT pregnant during that time. In 2018 the chronology of events was Lohri, followed by Rishabh-Sherlyn Mehendi, Holi (mahasangam), Kareena Bua birthday, Preeta-Prithvi Sagai and Satya Narayan pooja- Sherlyn was still NOT pregnant.
Now let us start with events were Sherlyn was pregnant- Mahesh-Rakhi Anniversary Party, Ganesh Utsav 2018/Karan-Monisha Roka, Rakhi Aunty Birthday party/Karan-Monisha Sangeet, Karan-Monisha Sagai/Ritwik-Rishabh partnership deal (end of 2018 events)
Sherlyn is pregnant obviously and 2019 starts with Karan-Monisha Haldi, followed by Karan-Monisha na honewali Shaadi, MahaShivratri, Holi, Bachelors Party/Prithvi-Sherlyn shaadi, Rishabh-Sherlyn shaadi, Sherlyn Mu dikhayi, Preeta haldi, Karan-Preeta shaadi, Karwachauth, Diwali, Preeta-Prithvi ki na honewali shaadi, Karan-Mahira's sagai, Karan-Mahira mehendi.
2020 Karan-Mahira Mehendi continues...
Considering the fact that this year aka in 2020 the show is stepping forward in another year of festivals, the makers have been (up until this point) careful as to not celebrate the same festival twice during the duration of Sherlyn's pregnancy. The thing that I'm trying to say is the first Karwachauth happened in 2017, but none happened in 2018, the next one was celebrated in 2019, similarly the first Ganesh Utsav happened in 2017 the next one celebrated in 2018 but none happened in 2019. Holi was first celebrated in 2017 and then in 2019 but as the timeline goes the probabilities of it being celebrated again in 2020 is low.
Technically what the makers are trying to show that considering it has only been 4 months of Sherlyn's pregnancy, the majority of last year was mostly just three really long wedding (day). If we simply take the events(forgetting there real time actual dates and time of year😆) into consideration Luthras and Arora's have known each other for 2 years. The logic is hard to find but if one tries hard there is a consistency to it.
