Preeta was in her room looking in the mirror at herself and thinking, "Am I in love..? Really? Me.." and blushing.. she was like how would she face him now, how would she talk to him or basically what would she talk to him..
Just then she remembered that Karan had once told her that his favourite colour is black.. he had said to her, "Yeh kya Ajeeb Ajeeb colours pahenti ho Preeta try some cool classy colour, try black.. Patakha lagogi baby doll.." that day Preeta had shouted at him.. but today thinking about the same incident she was smiling..
Srishti enters the room, she had been desperate for so long to talk to her sister now she is here.
Srishti: Dii...kaha ho aap.. kab se, kab se I'm dying to talk to you, batao na..
Preeta: Kya? Accha.. Haan Sameer puch Raha tha tere baare mein..
Srishti: Accha!! Kya... Hey, nahi you're misleading me.. yeh batao ki Karan sir se baat kya huyi..?
Preeta: Arey tune kaha tha na usse baat na Karu toh maine nahi Kiya..
Srishti: itne saal mere saath rehne ke Baad bhi aapko lagta hai aap mujhse kuch chupa loge.. toh you're wrong..
Preeta: Arey but sacchi kuch nahi hua.. hona kya tha.. usne bola maine bola and then I came back and slept aur wo bhi so hi Gaya hoga..
Srishti: Accha!! Aisa kya.. Aisa thanda confession.. doob maro Dii!!
Chodo aapse kya umeed Karu.. but Karan sir.. Haye I'm sure kuch toh hua hoga.. Khair ab Mai kisi ki private baatein thodi puch Sakti hu.. Ok chalega..!!
Preeta: exactly tera aur Sameer ka kya chal Raha hai Mai kabhi poochti hu..
Srishti: Hehe!! Very funny..aur hamara kuch chal bhi nahi Raha hai.. that shorty, Hawa ka jhoka..
Srishti began to leave saying this when Preeta said, "Srishti, ek baat Bata.. how would I look in black..!! I mean mujhpe theek toh lagega na.."
Srishti: What black? And you? And who was that who said Black ashubh hota hai..
Preeta: Arey Mai generally puch Rahi hu..
Srishti understood what the Matter was and went to the cupboard and took out a black dress and gave it to Preeta..
Preeta: Arey mujhe chahiye nahi.. Mai bas..
She looked at Srishti who was looking at her smiling lovingly at her sister's attempt to hide the truth.. seeing this Preeta smiled too..
Preeta: Ok theek hai, tujhse Mai kuch nahi chupa Sakti.. he likes black and Mai soch Rahi thi Mai kaisi lagungi..
Srishti: toh yeh pehen lo.. come on ab kuch bolo mat just try fatafat..
Srishti leaves and now Preeta again alone in the room with that dress and Karan in her mind..
Half an hour later Preeta got ready, usually it took her hardly five minutes to change but today she was getting ready as if she's going to get married.. now after getting ready she was busy adoring herself and thinking of Karan's reaction..
Outside Sarla aunty was inquiring about her new transformed daughter.., "Srishti, Beeji yeh kya kar Rahi hai Preeta ek ghante se andar.. Aisa toh kabhi nahi Karti.. teri tarah ho gayi hai Srishti..door raha kar tu usse.."
Srishti: Arey Arey kuch bhi bol rahe ho aap.. aapki beti Sajna hai mujhe Sajna ke liye kar Rahi hai..
Sarla: Hain!!! Kya!?
Dadi laughs..
Just then Preeta is out looking stunning in that Black suit.. everybody looks on..she was looking so so beautiful..
Srishti: isme toh K...
Preeta signalled her to stop and Srishti then said, "Arey Mai ye keh rahi hu ki isme toh Qayamat lag Rahi ho.." she winked..
Sarla aunty got teary eyed seeing her daughter.. she applied a black dot at the back of her ear to prevent her from evil.. now she said, "Preeta beta hua kya hai tujhe.. itna time.. chal ab as gayi toh mere liye kuch saman leti aana.."
Preeta agreed but wanted to change back and go..but Sarla aunty convinced her that she's looking lovely and asked her to go like that..
Dadi said, " Haan Preeta bahut sundar lag rahi hai tu.. Jaa wo dukaan wala bhi khush ho Jayega.."
Sarla: Beeji aap bhi na kuch bhi Bolte rehte ho..
Karan is here in his car, looking at the rear view mirror for past 10 minutes.. looking at different angles tracing his chin and beard..
Just then Rishabh comes and notices his actions..
Rishabh: Karan tere room ka mirror Kam tha jo ab yeh ladies ki tarah car mirror bhi nahi choda.. aur tu kar kya Raha hai.. practice par nahi Jana..
Karan: Aa... Wo.. actually Mai Preeta ke ghar Jaa Raha tha..
Rishabh: Preeta ji ke ghar, at this time of the day.. why?
Karan: Wo.. mujhe Dadi se milna hai.. aaj mera practice ke liye unse Aashirwad and girlfriend special jhappi Leni hai..
Rishabh: oh!! Aisa pehle toh kabhi nahi Kiya.. and with already wasting so much time how could you think of that Karan.. bahut immature hai tu.. Preeta ji sahi kehti hai..
Karan: Preeta ji kehti kya hai tujhe Abhi pata hi kaha hai..
Rishabh: Haan!! What did you say...
Just then he got a call and it being important he had to leave..
Karan again looking at the mirror, "Mai aa Raha hu Preeta.. kitna time ho Gaya tumhe dekhe.. Bina bataye aa Raha hu.. Chup bhi nahi paogi mujhse..
