Before I start, I want to highlight that I'm not bashing on Rishabh or demeaning him in anyway. This is a genuine question I have.

Do you guys think Manit was cast as Rishabh, to allow him to be a grey character, or a possible antogonist? Because Manit has played the antogonistic/grey/villain roles before...and i know ZeeTV introduced him as one of the leads, but thats how Yuvraj from Tashan-E-Ishq was introduced, only to be the main villain of the show.

I'm not saying Rishabh will be a villain, but he might turn grey...only because theres enough of a scope and previous scenes that allow the prospect of him turning bad for a bit. be plausible. Plus Manit rocked in his previous performances too.

The casting directors will probably have seen his work at some point too.

Rishabh seems tooo sweet to turn into negative for the smallest of issues. There has to be something really major to make him negative. Although, I wouldn't really want him to be negative.

He seems too soft spoken most of the times to be imagined as a villain in my head atleast (except for those short outbursts). I don't think just knowing about Karen-Preeta's relationship (if and when that happens) is enough to turn him negative. He already knows Preeta doesn't love him, and thinks she may love someone else .. so far he seems okay about him, but yeah who knows what the CVs come up with in the future !

Rishabh is very soft spoken and an emotional man. Might do some blunders in emotions though but don't think he can turn neg.

I feel that Rishabh's character is still a mystery to us and is layered with many shades. Human nature is very unpredictable, he can absolutely turn negative, given the circumstances. Since he is an emotional person, if he turns negative then people that are very close to his heart will be instrumental in pushing him over the edge, not knowingly of course.

Lastly, its an Ek show, kuch bhi ho sakta hai :)
